I decided to take some time away from everything, and now I'm sitting alone in the darkness, the cool night breeze washing over my skin. It's quite quiet out here, and I like the lack of noise.
I continue to check my phone, hoping that I'll see a text from Scarlett. For some reason, I hope to see a notification from her. I used to find it scary and irritating, but now I feel differently. It's like I feel connected to her in a way.
After spending some time thinking about what happened at the party, little pieces began to come together. Small details came back to me. I remember her dark, glossy hair, her seductive lips, and the way she looked at me despite the mask covering her face.
I wish that things didn't have to be so secretive. I wish that she could show her face to me and I could finally see the girl that I feel so connected to.
I decided to come out here to listen to music. But when I try to find my headphones, I realise that they're not in my pocket. I quickly figure that I left them back in mine and Summer's room.
"Oh, you gotta be kidding me." I mutter.
I immediately sigh before deciding to walk back to get them. I'm determined to have some time to myself tonight, plus I already told Summer that I'd be gone for an hour or more.
She seemed quite happy to have me out of the room tonight. I don't want to know what she's doing while I'm gone. I assume that she's probably masturbating, but I don't think Summer actually touches herself.
I rush down the hallway when I enter the building again, my room in sight to the left of me. I walk up to the door, pulling out my key card and waiting for it to scan.
I quickly unlock the door without hesitation...
A look of panic washes over their faces when I enter the room. Summer throws the covers over Emily, trying to protect her body from being seen by me. Emily hides her face in shame, and she doesn't make eye contact with me. I stand shocked as I try to process what's going on.
Summer and Emily?
"Richelle, I- I can explain." Summer begins to speak, shakily, whilst jumping off the bed, "This isn't what it looks like."
I scoff, "Isn't what it looks like? It looks pretty clear to me what just happened in here."
"No, you- you don't understand." Summer frantically tried to make something up: "Richelle, just let me talk."
I look over at Emily with disgust in my eyes. She has her head in her hands, and I know that she can't face this. She's a coward, and she always prefers to avoid things.
I notice how she's barely covered, only a black thong left on her body. Unfortunately, I have to view her tits, and I probably won't get that image out of my head. Jesus, I need to cleanse my eyes.
