After Summer and I finished our duet, I decided to stay at the side of the stage for a while. I enjoy watching my competition, and I want to see what I'm up against. So far, nothing has even been close to our level, but now it's J-cruise's turn, and I know that they're amazing.

My eyes focus on Jones and his duet partner as they prepare to go on stage from the opposite side.

I don't recognise his duet partner, but she looks really serious, and I'm nervous to see how she dances. But I know Jones is a great dancer, and this duet is probably going to be hard to beat.

"Can J-Cruise's dancers, Jones and Chloe, please take the stage?" I hear an announcement from above.

Jones and Chloe give each other a quick thumbs-up before walking onto the stage, seriousness in their eyes.

They didn't come to mess around.

The duet starts, and a lyrical song plays, Chloe and Jones staring into each other's eyes passionately. I immediately admire his duet partner's technique and ability to display emotion, and I note that she seems on my level.

She has long, jet-black hair that shines against the stage lights; her face is sharp and her features are beautiful.

They complete a series of turns before Jones holds onto Chloe and lifts her into the air, myself and the audience letting out a gasp. He then effortlessly puts her down, and I see the smile on his face when he realises that he perfected it.

He looks proud of himself.

He's a really good dancer, and I could watch him for hours, but it's a shame that he's a terrible person.

After a couple of minutes, the duet comes to an end, with the ending pose consisting of Jones holding Chloe close to him, the two of them looking into each other's eyes with passion. Silence fills the auditorium, and I know that people don't know how to react.

That dance was beautiful, I have to admit.

Everyone applauds, and Chloe and Jones bow.

It's then announced how they did: "J-cruise scores ninety-nine points!"

Wow, that's impressive! They beat mine and Summer's duet, and honestly, I'm not surprised. Their duet is unbeatable, and I haven't seen anything that good in a while.

As they make their way off the stage, I'm instantly startled when I feel a hand on my shoulder.

I turn my head, and I see Summer standing over me. She says, "Hey, we need to go to the foyer. We're being interviewed."

"What? Right now?"

Summer nods. "Yeah, right now."
