Rehearsals for Internationals have just finished. The entire day, Richelle hasn't stopped glaring at me, reminding me that she hates me for taking her solo from her. I know that she wants it more than I do, but I won't give up the chance to dance on the Internationals stage.

I should kick myself for even thinking about turning down this opportunity.

"Good rehearsal, everyone." Emily claps her hands. "Now, I want everyone to go home and rest. We have one more week of rehearsals, and that's it! Please, no doing anything stupid and breaking your leg before the competition."

Laughter fills the room before everyone begins to gather their things to leave.

"See you all on Wednesday," Emily says goodbye to us.

I decide to wait around as I want to talk to Emily. I hover next to the office, and I see that she notices me.

She mouths, "One second," and I mischievously grin.

I watch as the girls skip out of the studio, and I can hear them gossiping about the boys. Seriously, when are they going to get over their childish crushes? It's ridiculous.

Richelle then passes me, making sure to remember to roll her eyes to get her point across. I decide to give her a quick smile as I don't want to be rude, even though she is to me.

Once everyone has left, Emily finally makes her way over to me, sighing dramatically due to it being a stressful day. She follows me into the office, and then I crash onto the couch.

"Long day, huh?" I say as she walks into the office.

"Uh-huh," She replies before complimenting me, "You looked amazing in rehearsal."

"Seriously?" I ask her.

"Seriously," She confirms.

"You truly are amazing. You're so talented, so effortless, so-."

I interrupt, smirking, "And so hot, right?"

She shyly replies, "And that too," before hiding her face in embarrassment.

"No, seriously though, you're great!"

I decide to ask her about the solo and their decision to have me dance it at Internationals as it's been playing on my mind since I got the news. "So you think that you made the right decision by giving me the solo?"

I can't help but notice how she pauses before hesitating. "Yeah... Like I said, you're an amazing dancer."

"Yeah..."
