The villa they were staying in was built within the resort, having the world's facility under just one roof. They were a dozen, situated a bit distant than the former and later one to give privacy to every inhabitant. Their villa was a gorgeous small building, the color of sun and sand illuminating the beach around them. The villa had a one-colored pattern of purplish grey marbled tiled floor and grey ceiling with large windows showing the view of the specular beach.
After a very busy day and night yesterday in Strix, Andaleeb didn't know how much time she had slept due to tiredness. That was the day ten of their honeymoon and now they would go back to Pakistan after spending another five days in Scotland. This time was definitely the best moment of her life when she enjoyed the breathtaking monuments with the love of her life. She remembered sleeping last night in Masab's arms but as the day commenced, she found the bed empty. Where did he go?
She took a quick shower and then wore a matching spaghetti-strap purple camisole with trousers. Draping the white robe over it, she moved out of the room. This villa was private and hence they could get the privacy here as much as they needed. Today was a sunny day, and hence, Andaleeb decided to enjoy the sunlight by sitting over one of the swimming pool beds placed next to the pool.
She waved her fingers in her hair as she walked up to the back area of the resort where the pool was situated. She put a halt to her steps seeing Masab inside the pool. He was shirtless and only in his swimming shorts. The way the blue and clear water of the pool contrasted with his muscular, sturdy, and fawn skin as he was doing multiple strokes made her breathless.
She had never seen him swimming before, but it was going so well with his breathtaking body and athletic build. The tides of water were propelling him forward, and then he did a butterfly stroke, which was enough to make her little heart tremble. She had always found men getting affected by her beauty but she never saw herself getting so mesmerized by any man this much. However, she had no qualms about it because this man was all hers, and he was her husband.
He finally lifted his head from the underwater, his face almost looking like a monument to her by the way water dripped through his hair, face, and beard. His eyes were hard and fiery but as soon as they locked at her figure, they softened.
Andaleeb strolled ahead and smiled. "I didn't know that you swim as well."
"Not very frequently, but sometimes I do it to distract myself," he murmured gently.
She raised a brow. "From what do you want distraction?"
Masab simply shook his head. "Just said it metaphorically. My body was just in need of good exercise in the form of swimming. Come."
His offer made her eyes widen. She unknowingly took a few steps back. The mere sight of this pool made her gulp as it brought so many harsh memories again. "What? I...I won't."
