"When you kidnapped me, where did you find me? I was with Aurang when I fled from my house, where did you see me? Were you following me?" She suddenly inquired, causing Masab to breathe quietly. His hand movement halted and he looked away, thoughtfully.
He finally nodded. "I have been following you since the day you helped me. Your every movement and every action was under my scrutiny. I knew that you were going to run away from your arranged marriage for that coward; hence, I tracked you all along. I knew you were going to do something inevitable and I must stop that. I found you with him in a hotel room, and even seeing him with you in a room alone made my blood boil. So I just shot him in his head. The bastard couldn't even his take next breath."
She eyed him curiously. For some weird and wrong reasons, Andaleeb didn't mind him saying those words about Aurang. Instead, she felt all those unnerving emotions in her body and heart seeing this strong man claiming to be going against all the odds for her. She was becoming so twisted and odd.
However, her mind became static at the mention of the hotel's room. If she remembered correctly, Aurang took her to his friend's apartment that day where they were supposed to marry. Why was Masab saying it was a hotel room? Maybe he was mistaken.
"Hotel room?" She raised a brow. "What do you mean by that? I...I was with him at his friend's apartment. And that's the last memory of that day before everything faded into the thin air for me."
"The place where he brought you was a hotel. Not anyone's apartment. I found you in that hotel's room," Masab murmured, truthfully.
Her confusion grew more but then she accepted her defeat. Maybe she couldn't recall that properly. Perhaps she was totally wrong that she still remembered anything from that day.
"Maybe you are right," she whispered, raising her shoulder. "I don't remember anything clearly anyway. It's all so hazy for me."
He pressed his lips against her temple. "But that day was the best day of my life. I found the woman of my dreams. I got her companionship."
She instead rolled her eyes. "You aren't feeling any shame claiming to follow a girl and tracking her location? Worst murdering and kidnapping someone. But who am I talking to? You are the biggest douchebag walking on this earth."
He laughed loudly at this and pecked her earlobe. "Don't deny, sweetheart, that these things are exactly what enthralled you. If I am twisted, you are the same twisted as me."
He moved lower and then kissed her neck before sucking and nibbling over her soft skin. Andaleeb fought a groan to leave her mouth. The fact that he wasn't wrong and she was getting affected by his touch just a few minutes after he claimed of doing everything that an asshole would do was even making herself questionable in her eyes as well.
"For you, I can do anything, and I will do anything in the future as well. That's such a small thing. I can even give up on my life for you," he asserted, brushing his palm over her cheek tenderly.
