Virat woke up first in the morning. He noticed the time: it was 7 a.m.

"We could sleep in today since it's an off day," he thought, lying back on the pillow.

Then everything from the night before rushed back to him.

He felt soft breaths against his neck—Rohit was still cuddling him.

Rohit's hand was on his waist, his face buried in Virat's neck, his body pressing against his side.

"He's decided to torture me with this," Virat thought, seeing how close Rohit was.

But then another thought crossed his mind.

"Was it really torture? I feel so at peace with him close. He's sleeping so soundly..."

Virat didn't have the heart to push him away, but he knew he had to try.

He needed to get up—Rohit would be hungover, and Virat could arrange food and lemon water for him.

He hoped it wouldn't be too bad.

"Ummm..." Rohit groaned when Virat tried to remove his hand.

He just pulled him closer and tightened his grip on Virat's waist.

Virat sighed. "What are these feelings? I'm straight—but this... Oh god! Having Rohit close is something else. No, I'm going on a date today. This will pass."

"Ro, please let me get up," Virat said, shaking him lightly.

"Ugh... this... here... is... good," Rohit mumbled, not moving an inch. Virat could literally he was still under the influence.

Virat lay his head back on the pillow again.

"Good? It's freaking awesome," thought Virat, but he had to get up.

He didn't know how to feel about this. Being close to Rohit was confusing, and it was only going to get harder if he didn't distance himself.

He took a few more seconds of warmth, then gently removed Rohit's hand when he noticed his steady breathing—Rohit was deep asleep.

Virat got up, covered Rohit with the comforter, and couldn't resist caressing his hair as he cuddled up like a child.

Virat spent over half an hour in the shower, trying to wash away the feelings from the night before.

"Vi..." Rohit called out when he woke up with a heavy head.

He didn't have the energy to get up, but knowing Virat was there gave him some relief.

"Sleeping beauty awakes," Virat teased, placing a glass of lemon water on the table.

"Ugh... slow," Rohit groaned, holding his head.

Virat helped him sit up, and Rohit rested his head for a second before opening his eyes.

"What's happening? Headache?" He mumbled holding his head with one hand and looking at Virat.

"You're hungover, idiot," Virat said, handing him the lemon water.

"Why did you let me drink?" Rohit complained after a few minutes.

Virat chuckled at his complaint. "Me? If Pollard showed you a cliff, you'd jump off it. I don't know why you listen to him every time. You were out of control yesterday."

"Sorry... What did I do?" Rohit asked as he hardly remembered anything.

"You don't remember anything?" Virat asked, amused but he was bit disappointed, he didn't show it on his face- specially when Rohit said about liking him, he tried to mask his emotions well.
