Virat went into the shower while Rohit was resting on the couch, as he had already showered when Virat was busy talking with Sachin Paaji.
Rohit was glad that Virat could practice how Sachin Paaji had told him.
It made Virat a little more confident about his game. Hopefully, he would gain more in the coming days.
Rohit analyzed Virat's England innings and today's recorded sessions. There was a noticeable difference, but still a lot to work on, it seemed.
His thoughts were broken by the sound of the door clicking. He saw Virat coming out of the bathroom with a towel around his waist.
Rohit was stunned for a minute, looking at Virat. His wet, messy hair, water still dripping from his abs. He couldn't help but stare at him openly.
Virat noticed Rohit gazing at him intently, practically checking him out. He walked towards him, not wanting to miss this chance.
"Like what you see?" Virat smirked teasingly.
Rohit got up and moved closer. "Oh, I love what I see," he teased back, gazing at him intently, making Virat blush.
Rohit loved making him blush. It just made him happy that he had such an effect on Virat. He looked so adorable.
Rohit traced his fingers on Virat's arm, making him shiver with the touch.
"I should get dressed, it's cold," said Virat, not able to handle it. He went towards the cupboard.
"Way to ruin the moment," Rohit mumbled and got back on the couch. Virat heard it and couldn't help but chuckle at the comment.
"What do you wanna have for dinner?" Virat asked, but Rohit didn't answer.
"Rohit," Virat turned and saw him engrossed in his phone.
He went near him and shook him, but Rohit shrugged it off.
"What's wrong with you? Why are you not responding?" asked Virat.
Rohit looked at him and turned his face. Seeing that, Virat tried to understand. "Are you seriously annoyed because I said I would get dressed?" he asked.
Rohit just made a more annoyed look at that. "At least you could have given me a hug," he whined, to which Virat couldn't help but chuckle as he looked so cute when annoyed.
"Now can you look at me? I'm wearing your favorite black shirt," Virat said.
Rohit didn't budge.
"I'm going downstairs to make dinner," said Virat and went downstairs, leaving an annoyed Rohit behind.
As Virat came downstairs, he couldn't help but think about what happened.
Virat knew he could have those kinds of close moments with Rohit, but he didn't know why he was scared. What if he got too close and then everything shattered again?
They had dinner in silence and went to bed. Rohit was annoyed and tired, so he slept quickly. He thought he would talk to Virat in the morning.
Virat, on the other hand, slept for a while but was woken up by a nightmare.
All he could feel was Rohit going away from him. And he was alone, trapped in the cottage.
He removed Rohit's hand from his arm and went downstairs.
He went into the kitchen to make some tea as it would help calm him down. He had already had too much coffee during the day.
He tried so hard not to let his thoughts affect him, but they came rushing back. How he was alone in the cottage after Rohit went away.
