Once Virat came back, he was not out on 149*. Rohit was the first one to hug him. "Thank you, baby," he whispered to Virat.

Virat hugged him back with love.

Jaddu cleared his throat to get their attention, and everyone hugged Virat one by one.

The match was done, and India had won with Virat as the Man of the Match.

Presenter: "I am sure everyone today wants to know—who was the celebration for?"

Virat: "Someone who is my home and who is my life. I am happy to keep it private and close to my heart. Thanks."

Rohit, who was in the dressing room, heard that, and a lone tear trickled down his eye.

"Rohit, you must know who he is talking about, right? Who is the lucky person who has got Virat's heart?" Jaddu asked, shocking Rohit.

"What do you mean?" Rohit cleared his throat and composed himself.

"Means you are the closest to Virat. He must have told you, right? Who is it?"

Before Rohit could answer, Virat walked into the room. Only the seniors and Mahi bhai were there.

"What's going on?" Virat asked, noticing the serious discussion.

"We were just asking Rohit who the special person is—the one you dedicated the award and century to. He may know it, right?" Jinks asked this time.

"Anyway, you tell us, Virat. Who is it that has captured your heart? Who is your life?" Jaddu asked curiously.

Virat and Rohit both grew nervous. They didn't know how the others would react.

Mahi noticed them going pale and decided to help them.

"It's fine, take your time, Cheeku. Let's go now; everyone needs rest," Mahi said.

"NOW get in the bus," he added, eyeing Jaddu, who was ready to ask more questions.

They left for the bus. Virat sat beside Rohit, holding his hand to provide some comfort, to which Rohit returned a small smile. Virat rested his head on the seat, relieved to see that smile.

When they entered their room, Rohit freshened up and ordered dinner while Virat was in the bathroom.

Virat got dressed and finally walked toward Rohit, who had just set his phone down. Without a word, he hugged him tightly, burying his head in Rohit's shoulder.

Rohit, caught by surprise, steadied himself against the side table before hugging him back.

Virat moved even closer, soaking in the warmth of Rohit's arms after a long, tiring day and a cold shower.

This was home for him.

Rohit felt the same— Virat in his arms was exactly where he belonged.

"You got me emotional today," Rohit whispered, still in the hug.

"Didn't plan it, but when I saw you in the dressing room, I did it," Virat replied.

"Also the post-match one?"

"I just wanted to keep it private but, at the same time, let people know that my heart is captured by someone special— who is my life," Virat whispered in his ear, sending shivers down his spine.

"Your life?" Rohit broke the hug, his voice overwhelmed by Virat's words.

"Of course, you are my life. And that is why I am really upset about what you did yesterday. You should have informed me—I was so worried," Virat said, still in his arms, where Rohit's hands rested around his waist and Virat's on Rohit's chest.

"I am really sorry, baby. Jaddu dragged me away, and then I forgot my phone. I felt really guilty, but I promise it will never happen again. I will always inform you about my whereabouts," Rohit said, genuinely remorseful.

"This is the first time, so I forgive you, but don't do it again," Virat warned, and Rohit nodded.

Rohit kissed his forehead, overwhelmed with love and emotions. "Thank you for today. It was the best day—the best moment on the cricket field, personally," he said, resting his forehead against Virat's. His hands settled on Virat's neck while Virat held Rohit's wrists.

Virat just closed his eyes, letting the love in his heart sink in.

Then the dinner arrived. Virat sat beside Rohit and said cutely, "Tu khila de," demanding to be fed.

Rohit couldn't resist. He pecked Virat's cheek and fed him a bite.

"Why didn't you look at me after the run-out? I thought you were upset with me," Virat asked between bites.

"I wanted to bat with you for longer, but our run-out history didn't help," Rohit chuckled softly.

They finished their dinner, and Rohit sat on the couch, flipping through channels mindlessly.

Virat returned after attending a call and looked at him.

He just climbed onto Rohit's lap.

"Someone is in the mood to get pampered," Rohit said, seeing Virat cutely looking at him.

"I am always in the mood to get pampered when it's you. I am only like this in front of you," Virat said, feeling shy, playing with Rohit's shirt button.

"Like what? A baby?" Rohit teased, poking his nose.

Virat made a face at that.

"I know, you are my and only my baby," Rohit said, pecking his nose.

"Ro, what's disturbing you since last night? Did Jaddu ask something like today?" Virat asked, comfortably sitting in his lap.

"He asked if I was dating Neha," Rohit said, not meeting his eyes.

Virat cupped his cheeks and made him look up at him.

"Ro, there is more on your mind. What is it?" he asked softly.

"I am scared... I don't want to lose you again! I cannot forget that phase of ours, how you were so miserable, I can't—" Rohit said, his voice breaking, eyes glistening.

"Shh... Ro! Love, listen... no one, I mean no one, can ever make me go away from you! I promise, we will be together forever! It was a one-time thing, it happened. I know it's difficult, but we have to move past it! I am here, I am not going anywhere, just with you, always," Virat reassured him, softly kissing his forehead.

Rohit let out a deep breath, leaning into his warmth before hesitating.

"Vi... the team—I mean, our friends and Mahi bhai... they're suspicious about us."

"Ya, I know."

"If you feel okay, we can tell them tomorrow."

"I am just scared, you know... of their reactions."

"Ya, I know, baby, but it doesn't feel right, you know, to lie to them," said Rohit, caressing his cheek softly.

"It's getting really difficult to hide it from them, and on top of that, you are so cute, I cannot resist looking at you, and I have to control so much in front of them," Rohit said, making Virat blush.

"Okay, let's tell them tomorrow," Virat said, hugging him, burying his head in his chest.

Rohit hugged him back with all the love. He was also nervous about tomorrow.

He didn't know how they would react to this. He knew they were not against it, but still, telling them was a whole different thing.
