The next morning, Rohit woke up and saw that Virat was still sleeping. He slowly removed Virat's hand, which was clutching his T-shirt, and helped him lie down properly.

He kissed his forehead and went to take a bath, he needed to wash off all the tiredness from last night.

Once done, he arranged a proper breakfast for both Virat and himself, some lemon water, coffee, painkillers, whatever Virat might need.

"Is he okay?" Rohit read Bhuvi's text in the group chat, followed by others.

Jaddu: Did you take advantage of his intoxicated state?

Ash: Are you mad?

Jaddu: Did he take advantage of your intoxicated state?

Rohit: Shut the fuck up!
And Bhuvi, he's fine. You know how he gets after drinking, a bit disoriented, but he's sleeping now.

Bhuvi: Take care of him.

Jaddu: So you're telling me nothing happened? How boring you guys are!

Jinks: Jaddu, care to share what you did last night with that girl?

Rohit: Which girl?

Jaddu: Shh, Jinks!

Rohit: He's waking up! Talk to you guys later.

Rohit rushed to the bed as he saw Virat stirring a little. He looked restless due to the headache. Rohit softly caressed his head.

"Vi, calm down, it's just a headache. It'll be okay in some time. I'm here," he said gently.

"Ro," Virat whispered, feeling nothing but pain at the moment. He reached out his hand to hold Rohit's.

Rohit gently took it and moved closer, caressing Virat's head with his other hand. Virat buried his head in Rohit's stomach, trying to shut the pain out.

"Baby, it's just a hangover. Take a shower, you'll feel better. I've got coffee and breakfast ready for you," Rohit said softly.

Virat got up and cuddled into him. Rohit wrapped his arms around him, kissing his forehead lovingly.

Virat then headed to the shower. As the water ran down, the memories from last night started flooding back.

He felt a pang of guilt for his actions, for making Rohit rush back because of him. The flashbacks hit him hard, how he'd cried like a baby on Rohit's shoulder.

Oh God... how embarrassing.

Rohit noticed it had been quite a while. "Vi, are you okay?" he asked, knocking on the bathroom door.

"Um... yeah, five minutes," Virat replied, snapping out of his thoughts and getting dressed.

Rohit made him sit down and offered him some lemon water to help with the headache.

Virat didn't say anything.

Though he felt deeply loved and cared for by Rohit, the guilt and embarrassment overshadowed everything else.

Rohit ensured he ate a proper breakfast and also gave him a mild painkiller to ease the headache.

They had breakfast in silence, Rohit didn't ask anything, knowing Virat was busy recollecting everything from the night before.

After cleaning up, Rohit sat beside Virat on the couch. Virat was fidgeting with his fingers, clearly lost in thought, overthinking.

Rohit decided to take it slow and calm. He just wanted to assure Virat that he wasn't lacking in any way. He was his Vi—perfect for him.
