The next morning, Virat got up before Rohit. He saw Rohit sleeping and whispered, "Idiot, you got me so worried yesterday," as he placed a kiss on his jaw.

Afterward, he went to freshen up, as he had a meeting with Mahi bhai and the board early in the morning, being the VC.

Before leaving, he quickly wrote a note and placed it on the side table under the glass of water, knowing the first thing Rohit would do upon waking up was drink water.

An hour later, Rohit woke up and immediately felt Virat's absence. He rubbed his eyes and checked around the room, but Virat was nowhere to be found.

Then, he noticed the note. He took a sip of water and read:

"Morning, Ro! I have an urgent meeting with Mahi bhai and the board. I'll meet you at breakfast. I know something has been bothering you since last night, and we will talk about it after the match, okay? Also, about your carelessness yesterday. Now, stop biting your nails and staring at this note, and get up! I'm waiting in the dining hall."

Rohit smiled at Virat's care and how well he knew him. He quickly got freshened up and headed to the dining hall, searching for Virat, but he didn't see him.

"Looking for someone, Ro?" Jaddu whispered in his ear, startling him.

"Idiot, Jaddu, you scared me!" Rohit exclaimed, placing a hand on his chest. He sat beside Jaddu but continued to scan the room for Virat.

"Does anyone know where Vi is?" he asked, unable to control himself any longer, though he tried to keep his tone calm and not sound too desperate.

"Mahi bhai and he are still stuck in the meeting," Ash informed him.

This time, Ash noticed Rohit's expression fall.

Rohit understood how important this meeting was, but he couldn't shake the fear in his heart about Virat leaving him.

The Neha situation lingered in his mind longer than he had anticipated.

"What's wrong, Rohit? Missing Virat too much?" Jaddu asked, to which Rohit absentmindedly replied, "Yeah."

Jaddu exchanged glances with the others, who also noticed the change in Rohit. He was different; something was different

Before they could say anything, Virat and Mahi bhai arrived, and Rohit noticed him laughing with Mahi as he was ruffling his hair.

"He looks cute, doesn't he?" Jaddu whispered, to which Rohit replied with a distracted "yes," too lost in Virat to even notice.

Rohit got up and dragged Virat. "Bhai, I have some important work with him," he said and left from there.

Mahi bhai didn't pay much attention, as it had happened before, but at the table, all of them were sure that something was going on between them.

"Guys?" Bhuvi asked, breaking their thoughts.

"Is it me, or is something different between them?" Ash asked this time.

"I have been telling you guys, Rohit is actually behaving like—"

"He is in love," Jinks completed Jaddu's sentence.

"Who is in love?" Mahi asked, taking a seat beside Jinks.

"Rohit," Jaddu said.

"Is he? With whom? Do not tell me it's Neha," Mahi said, knowing she was not right for Rohit, but they hadn't said anything to Rohit since she was his childhood friend.

"No, not Neha. And bhai, don't mention Neha's name; he doesn't like it," Jinks said, remembering how Rohit snapped at them last night.

"I really think it's Virat," Jaddu said, and Mahi literally choked, coughing hard. Jinks rubbed his back. "Cheeku?" he asked once Mahi gained his composure.

"Yes, bhai, even we think so. Not sure, but something is going on between those two, and it's not just friendship anymore, the way Rohit looks at him," Jinks said.

Jaddu began explaining some things he noticed while they were at Mahi's farmhouse and how things had changed this time around.

Meanwhile,

"Ro, what are you doing?" Virat asked as he was being dragged.

Rohit pulled Virat into a corner near the storeroom on the floor; no one ever came there, and there were no cameras.

He looked around once more and then at Virat, who was looking at him with concern about what was suddenly wrong.

Rohit just hugged him tightly, burying his face in Virat's neck.

Virat sensed that Rohit's demeanor was a little different, so he hugged him back.

"Love, what's wrong?" Virat asked after a few seconds in the hug.

"Let us talk about that later. Let me stay like this for now. We have to join the others for breakfast," Rohit murmured, and Virat just caressed his hair softly, tightening the hug.

After a minute, Rohit broke the hug and just kept looking at Virat with all the love he had. Virat was overwhelmed by that.

Rohit leaned in a bit, but Virat moved back. "Not happening. I'm still angry about last night. The hug was allowed; this is not."

"Baby, please," Rohit whined, to which Virat just shook his head in refusal.

"I'm hungry now. Let's go; I only had coffee in the morning," Virat said, getting out of his hold. At least Rohit felt a bit better.

They arrived in the dining hall, where Virat let go of Rohit's hand before entering. They saw the others discussing something.

"What's the discussion about?" Virat asked, taking a seat beside Mahi bhai, while Rohit sat beside Jaddu, coming face to face with him.

"Just the usual about the match," Jinks said, diverting the topic.

"Oh yes, I had a few things to discuss," Virat said, and he started explaining some tactics he had.

They got into a discussion about the match, but they noticed how much better Rohit looked now that they were in the dining hall.

Rohit and Virat didn't get time to talk after that, as they had pre-match scheduled interviews and stuff. It was match time, and they were batting first.

Rohit and Shikhar had a good partnership of 50, but then Shikhar got out.

Virat arrived at the crease. "Hello, love," Rohit whispered, making him blush, but soon they both focused on the match.

Even though they were in a relationship, their run-out history remained the same.

Rohit was run out on 56; he didn't turn, which made Virat a little upset, but he had a job on his hands, so he focused.

Virat scored a century and looked into the dugout, where Rohit was clapping for him.

He removed his helmet and then kissed the ring on it, which made Rohit emotional.

Virat didn't even think he would do it, but today, seeing Rohit a bit scared in the morning and his thoughts scattered at night, he just wanted to assure him that he was not shy or scared to declare in front of everyone that Rohit was his life.

Everyone in the dugout was surprised by that gesture; they didn't know who it was for.

But the senior clan and Mahi bhai noticed that Rohit was not surprised.

Instead, he was really overwhelmed and emotional.
