"Let's go, then. Our flights are almost at the same time," Ash said as they headed downstairs.

"Virat, where's my passport? Have you hidden it?" Rohit yelled from upstairs.

"How would I know?" Virat shouted back.

"Cheeks, you didn't hide it, right?" Mahi asked, raising his eyebrows suspiciously.

"Bhai, you're always doubting me. It's probably in the drawer. I'm sure," Virat said as he made his way upstairs.

As Virat entered the room, he was suddenly pulled inside. The door slammed shut, and he found himself pinned against it.

"Ro—" he started to ask, but Rohit silenced him with a kiss.

Virat melted into it as Rohit poured all his love into the gesture. Rohit held his waist while Virat's hands found their way around Rohit's jacket, gripping it to pull him closer.

It was just love— raw, unspoken, yet profound.

"I love you," Rohit whispered against Virat's lips. "I'm going to miss you so much," he added, his voice filled with emotion.

Virat's eyes grew moist. "I love you more," he said, leaning in for another deep kiss.

This time, it was Rohit who felt overwhelmed, his heart swelling with emotion.

"Got your passport, Rohit! We're getting late," Jaddu's voice called from downstairs.

Virat broke the kiss and buried his face in Rohit's chest, holding him close.

"Yeah, Virat's just using the restroom—five minutes!" Rohit called back, stroking Virat's back.

"Take care, love," Rohit said, cupping Virat's cheeks.

"You too," Virat replied, placing his hand over Rohit's.

Reluctantly, they left for their IPL home locations.

Virat finally arrived in Bangalore. He sighed deeply, feeling the weight of Rohit's absence. He had promised Rohit he'd stay happy and focus on the IPL, but God, he missed him already—especially after the kiss Rohit had signed him off with.

"Did you reach, love?" a text buzzed on Virat's phone as soon as he checked into his room. The word love made him smile.

"Yes, I did. What about you?" Virat replied while unpacking his luggage.

"I did. All okay, right? You reached safely?"

"Yes, Ro. Don't you worry."

"Get freshened up, eat something, and rest for a while. I'll call you later," Rohit texted.

Virat couldn't help but think how much better it would've been if they were on the same team. If Rohit were here, they could've been cuddled up in each other's arms.

"Love? You there?" another text came through, pulling him from his thoughts.

"Yeah, I'll go freshen up. You should rest and eat something too. Bye."

"Bye. Take care, Vi."

"I miss you already, Ro," Virat typed but didn't send it. Instead, he backspaced and wrote: "You too, Ro."

Before he could put his phone down, another text popped up.

"I know you miss me. I do too. Don't worry; we'll meet soon."

Virat smiled, marveling at how well Rohit knew him.

"Love you, Vi. Stop worrying and rest. Bye."

"Love you more, Ro," Virat replied before heading to freshen up.

When he came out, KL and AB were waiting for him.

"Why didn't you inform us you'd arrived? We only found out from reception!" KL complained.

"Hello to you too, Rah," Virat said, amused at KL's annoyance.

KL hugged him, followed by AB.

"Hey, Biscuit. All okay?" AB asked.

Virat nodded, and the three sat down to catch up on life. Soon, they went for practice.

Virat threw himself into work—long hours of practice, meetings, and gym sessions—trying to distract himself from missing Rohit. But no matter how hard he tried, his thoughts kept drifting back to him.

Rohit had the day off. After meeting everyone, he returned to his room, where the solitude hit him hard.

He missed Virat's presence—his warm cuddles and the way he'd almost drape himself over Rohit, with his head resting on Rohit's chest like a baby.

"Oh gosh, I miss him so much," Rohit thought, dialing Virat's number.

When Virat didn't pick up, worry began to creep in. "Is he okay?" Rohit wondered, pacing around the room. Now that their bond had grown beyond friendship, his emotions felt stronger, and his protectiveness for Virat was even greater.

He couldn't stop thinking about how vulnerable Virat had been at the farmhouse. It must be hard for him, and knowing that made Rohit worry even more.

"Why isn't he picking up?" Rohit muttered anxiously.

Two hours later, Virat finally returned to his room, freshened up, and checked his phone. Seeing several missed calls from Rohit, he panicked and immediately called him back.

"Ro, are you okay? What's wrong?" Virat asked as soon as the call connected.

"Where were you? I've been calling for so long!" Rohit snapped, his worry spilling over as irritation.

"Ro?" Virat asked, confused by his tone.

"What 'Ro'? You know how worried I've been! Couldn't you call me even once?"

Virat stayed silent, unsure of how to respond. "I was just busy with RCB..." he said softly.

"You know what? Go and enjoy with your teammates. It's only been 12 hours, and you're already ignoring me. Here I was thinking you'd miss me more, but no—you've already forgotten me!" Rohit said, hanging up before Virat could reply.

Virat sat in shock, the words echoing in his mind.

Virat couldn't understand why Rohit was so upset. More than anger, it sounded like hurt, and that broke Virat's heart. A wave of fear washed over him—what if Rohit left him again? He knew it was just a fight, but the thought scared him deeply. Even though Rohit had assured him of their bond, Virat couldn't help but feel emotional and vulnerable.

"Virat," KL's voice broke his thoughts.

KL entered the room and noticed Virat looking distant and sad. "Virat bhaiya, are you okay?" he asked softly.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Virat replied, forcing a smile.

"Dinner?" KL offered, but Virat shook his head. "I'm not hungry, K. Just a bit tired. I'll sleep," he said, lying down on the bed.

KL nodded and left him alone.

As Virat lay there, a single tear rolled down his cheek when Rohit didn't answer his call. "Sorry, Rohit," he whispered before exhaustion overtook him, and he fell asleep.

Meanwhile, on the other side, Rohit paced restlessly in his room. He knew he'd overreacted. His worry for Virat had gotten the best of him, but snapping at him had been unnecessary.

Frustrated, Rohit rubbed his face, unable to deal with the overwhelming emotions that came with love—worry, guilt, and longing all at once.

When he finally checked his phone, he saw Virat's message: "Sorry."

One word. Yet, it carried so much emotion. Rohit could almost hear the sadness in Virat's voice and imagine the tears in his eyes.

And now, there were still five long days until they could see each other again.
