Next morning,
Rohit woke up to a knock on the door. He couldn't get up, Virat was curled up against him, one arm wrapped tightly around his waist, his head resting on Rohit's chest.
"Are you in an appropriate position? We're coming in!" Jaddu called out, not waiting for an answer before barging into the room.
"They're good, guys. Come in," he announced as he saw Rohit awake and Virat still peacefully asleep in his arms.
"Don't shout, Jaddu," Rohit scolded softly, quickly covering Virat's ears to keep him from waking up.
Bhuvi, Ash, and Jinks stepped in right behind him.
"It was Jaddu's idea," they said in unison, the moment they caught Rohit's pointed glare.
"And why are you here this early, Jaddu?" Rohit whispered, noticing Virat shifting closer at the sound, trying to fall back asleep.
"It's not early, it's breakfast time," Jaddu replied matter-of-factly.
Jinks glanced at Rohit, quietly watching as he gently caressed Virat's hair.
Bhuvi noticed it too, the soft way Rohit was taking care of him.
"Wake your baby up, or Jaddu will do it with a glass of water," Ash teased, grinning.
"You wouldn't dare," Rohit warned, narrowing his eyes.
Everyone chuckled, the room filled with light laughter and warmth.
"Vi, wake up," Rohit said gently, to which Virat just buried his head in his chest.
"Vi, it's time for breakfast," Rohit said again. "Baby, everyone is here, get up," he whispered, while the others gave him teasing smiles.
Virat slowly woke up, and Rohit sat back against the headboard. Virat leaned into Rohit's hug, rubbing his eyes.
When he saw everyone there, he immediately straightened up from the hug.
"It's okay, Vi. We don't mind," Bhuvi said with a soft smile as Virat looked a bit panicked.
Rohit held his hand and calmed him down, knowing he was still getting used to everyone knowing.
Virat and Rohit got freshened up while the others arranged breakfast in the balcony. Rohit came outside and saw Virat lost in thought while setting his hair. He knew what was going on in his mind.
He made him look at him, cupped his cheeks, "Don't worry, they are our friends. You don't have to behave differently in front of them, you know. You can hold my hand or lean on me without any second thought, okay?" he said, setting his hair and making it a bit messy as he liked.
Virat just nodded at that. He didn't know why he felt conscious in front of everyone.
"Lovebirds, come outside now!" Jaddu's voice broke Virat's thoughts.
Rohit just held Virat's hand and took him outside.
"Will you stop teasing us for one minute?" Rohit asked, smacking Jaddu's arm.
"No, I've waited so long for this," Jaddu replied.
"Yes, your CID brain was activated at 2x speed from the time they returned," Ash said.
"What do you mean, Ash?" Virat asked, picking up a fruit slice.
"He was sure something was going on between you two, so he started observing your actions very keenly and later involved us as well," Jinks explained.
"Actions?"
"Have you seen how your Rohit looks at you when you're not with him or near him? The longing and love," Bhuvi said this time.
