I DO NOT OWN NARUTO
Sakura was in the middle of a glorious dream where she was surfing on a river of pink cherry blossoms, holding none other than Ton-Ton—yes, Shizune's pig—like some kind of adorable steering wheel. She giggled in her sleep as the petals sparkled in the moonlight. Truly, life was perfect.
Until a certain LOUDMOUTHED, ORANGE-OBSESSED, NIGHTMARE INCARNATE decided her beauty sleep had gone on long enough.
"Saaaakuuuurrrraaaa-chaaan," Naruto half-whispered...and by "whispered," we mean yelled just quietly enough to not wake the dead. Unfortunately, Sasuke—ever the light sleeper—was very much alive.
"Shut. UP. Dobe," Sasuke grumbled, yanking his blanket over his head.
Meanwhile, inside her tent, Sakura flinched. Was that a bear growling? No, worse...it's NARUTO!
"WHAT NOW?!" she snapped, her voice muffled by her pillow as she tried to block out the world. But peace was no longer an option. With a frustrated groan, she threw off her blanket, stomping out of the tent in an oversized hoodie and ninja shorts. Her hair was a mess—half sticking up, half sticking out—but she couldn't care less.
"Morning, Sakura-chan!" Naruto greeted her with a grin so wide it could rival the moon.
"It's FOUR IN THE MORNING!" she growled, glaring at him with the intensity of a hundred shuriken.
"I know, but we've gotta train! AND catch fishies!" Naruto chirped, looking far too happy for someone awake at this ungodly hour. His innocent puppy-dog eyes were practically glowing in the dim light.
Sakura pinched the bridge of her nose. I'm too sleep-deprived for this level of stupidity. "Fine," she muttered, stomping back into her tent. "Give me a second to change into something functional."
By the time she came out, Sasuke was already up and brooding near the campfire. He gave her an exhausted side-eye that screamed, I'd rather be in a genjutsu right now. Meanwhile, Jiraiya, the legendary sage, continued snoring from his tent. Not even a tsunami—or Naruto's whining—could wake that man, The only thing that could was a pretty lady OR another CERTAIN SANIN PUNCHING THE LIFE OUT OF HIM
