DEATH WASNT A NEW discovery, it had been around since the dawn of time. what was a new discovery was seeing the governor alive and well. the simple sight of the man had lee's stomach churning. a scowl on his face and his jaw set tightly.

he rolled his shoulders as he crossed his arms over his chest, he hide the shock that was burning in his mind. he had swore the man was dead, he'd been gone for nearly a year. lee supposed if he hadn't died then he would've at least gotten over what happened, clearly he hadn't.

he had a group of people each person adorned with a gun, plenty of cars and a tank. he stood atop the military vehicle, he stared up at them, a smirk on his lips. he looked proud of what he was about to do, he looked proud of the fear he had printed into their eyes. lee shifted on his boots, "come down here! we need to talk!" the governor yelled up to rick, his hands resting on his hips as he looked up to the prison. he had returned to do what he had originally wanted to do and that was to take the prison.

the four concrete walls that they had turned into a home, the garden that they'd created to grow them plenty of food. he wanted what they had split blood taking, they'd spilt blood in order to create the safe space of the prison.

lee glanced to the grimes man a scowl on his lips, "it's not up to me! there's a council now! they run this place." rick shouted back, the governor nodded at the man's words. his teeth sinking into his bottom lip, "is hershel on the council?" he questioned, he waved his hand at his people, a women moved to the red truck. she pulled hershel from the truck, the man limped for a few steps to be in front of the tank before he was shoved to his knees. his hands were bound behind his back, maggie and beth gasped from beside the walsh boy.

he gently placed his hand onto the brunettes shoulder. "hey, he'll be fine. we're gonna get him back." he told the green sisters, his voice hushed. beth turned her attention to the boy, her eyes glossing over. lee dropped his hand "is michonne on the council?" he called up to them, michonne was next pulled from the truck, roughly shoved to her knees beside hershel.

rick looked between the two council members, his eyes wide his mouth slightly agape in shock. "i don't make decisions anymore!" he yelled, two people settled beside hershel and michonne. assault rifles in their hands, their faces blank as they stared at the group. "you're making the decisions today. come on down here... let's have that talk." the governor called out, adjusting his stance atop the military weaponry. rick sucked in a breath, looking to daryl who slowly nodded his head. his eyes glancing back to the man, rick mumbled something to carl before making his way down to the man.

rick stopped halfway down the field, his hand on his hips as he looked to the group. "we can't take 'em all on." daryl started, the group on the fence turned their attention to him, lee turned his attention to the dixon man. "we'll go through the admin building, through the wood like we planned. we don't got the numbers anymore. when's the last time someone checked the stash on the bus?" daryl spoke, his head turned to the governor, his words directed at the group that stood close to him.
