IT HURT, ALL IF IT DID, red dotted her skin, bright red marks in the shapes of jagged lines on her arms. it hurt, but it gave her the smallest sense that she was ridding his touch off of her body. giving her mind the smallest piece if mind, pain drowned out whatever lingered within her mind. it always had, it would always make her brain go quiet even if it was for a few minutes, and that's all she truly needed. pure silence, she needed her brain to go quiet, stop bombarding her with mindless words that made her feel crazy.

it blocked out the non stop flashbacks she'd begin to get. she assumed it was because it had began to calm down, her mind not focused with surviving, rather it was finally forcing her to feel everything, ten times harder then she had hours prior. but it was all that she seen. she could feel his hand, she could feel his eyes. her hands dug into the roots of her hair, her knees brought to her chest and heavy breaths leaving her lips. she wanted it to stop. all she could think of was what else could've happened, if something worse could have happened to her.

she'd been sent to the car, along with glenn and the woman, michonne. she'd recognized the women, but she couldn't remember from where. her back leaned against the tire, hands scratching as her skin until it was inflamed red and hot to the touch, until she was sure if she'd continue then she'd begin to bleed, but it seemed to be the only thing that could bring her comfort. the only thing that had began to ease her rushing mind.

the women gently nudged her foot, natalia slowly glanced to the women, tilting her head up to look at the women who stood. looming over the girls sitting figure, she slightly shook her head, eyes glancing to the girls red arm. natalia shook her head, using her palm to gently rub against the scratches she'd given herself, giving her body a small relief from the pain she was forcing herself to endure. natalia leaned her head back, eyes fluttering shut, quickly snapping back open. memories flashing in her mind, she groaned in frustration. "glenn! natalia!" ricks voice suddenly sounded from the forest, the three hurried to the tree line. natalia followed quickly behind glenn, brows furrowing in confusion upon seeing merle dixon of all people. glenn raised his gun, natalia mimicked him, "now we got a problem here, i need you to back up." rick told the steaming man, anger deep in his eyes, rooted within his bones, natalia could hardly believe what she was seeing. "what the hell is he doing here!" glenn yelled, michonne rushed past natalia, katana raised. "are you serious!" nat snapped, eyes burning daggers into merle who only smirked back at her.

she raised her gun higher, her eyes wide and a frown on her lips. "he tried to kill me!" michonne yelled with wide crazed eyes, "if it wasn't for him, nat." glenn's voice trailed off, going dead as he kept a firm glare of merle. the man shifted uncomfortably, hiding behind his brother. "why're you hiding? where's the energy from earlier?" natalia questioned, quirking a brow at the man she wanted dead, she'd never wanted anyone dead before, but she wanted merle in the ground. "he helped us get out of there." daryl defended the man, stepping in front of glenn's gun, natalia scuffed shaking her head at daryl. "he could've helped jesus and i still wouldn't give a shit!" natalia harshly snapped, rick stood in front of michonne, daryl aiming his weapon at glenn while lee stood beside nat. he didn't care that merle helped them, it was the least the dixon man could've done.
