IT ALMOST WORKED !
the walking dead !
season 3 episode 16 !" make me evil then i'm an angel instead "
THE PRISON WAS empty any sign that the group had once been there; was gone. there were a few signs that they'd once been there, a bible in one cell, talley marks drawn with a knife on one cell wall, empty canned foods. the little things were what proved they had once inhabited the cell block, everything else that had once been there, clothes, food, people. it was all gone.they'd left that morning, they'd piled their belongings into the cars, and driven off. they couldn't risk losing people, they'd lost to many of their own inside of the prison, in their home. they wouldn't lose anymore.
that's what they wanted the governor to believe. they'd created the illusion that they'd left, ran in the dead of night. it would work, it had to work. the governor would believe whatever worked best in his favor.
the sound of trucks racing for the prison filled the air, their battle cries filling the quiet air. the sound of guns going off filled the quiet air, they shot at anything they could. weather it moved or not, they fired at the guard towers, large bombs shattered one of the guard towers. the glass shattering, scattering along the courtyard. debri flew
across the courtyard, large pieces of concrete dropping onto the ground. fire blossomed atop the broken run down guard tower.they rammed through the second fence, their truck coming to a halt in the courtyard. his people climbed from the truck, yelling as they shot their guns, their faces contorted into anger, battle cries filling the air. seemingly awaiting for when the group would show their faces. they swung open the door, entering the cell block. they had left her line of sight, she had hunkered down within the third guard tower, one they hadn't shot up, they hadn't blown the one she was in into pieces. now she'd wait, her rifle held tightly in her hands, hidden within the four walls, crouched down beneath the cement wall, the glass allowing light to breath inside it.
the governor as his people entered the cell block, walking through each cell. confused as they stared at empty cells. they reluctantly entered the tombs, lips sealed, and eyes open wide, their ears perked as they listened for any sign of the group. confusion seeping into their eyes. fear crept into their bones as they ventured deeper within the tombs.
lee held his back against the concrete wall, his left hand clutched his gun, the other held a flash grande, one he had to pry from natalia's hands. he pulled the stick from the bomb, he tossed it into the tomb. listening to it clink against the ground before going off, smoke filled the air, screams came from their mouths as the siren began to go off, mixed with the smoke that filled the air. lee kissed his teeth, he tossed a second flash bomb into the tomb, their screams picked up. "hold your ground!" the governor repeatedly shouted, his eye searching for where the bombs were coming from.
