HER SKIN BURNED, it burned with filth. the underlying filth, the type that weighed heavily on her mind. she wanted to wash away the feeling of his hands, wash away the feeling she still felt of his prying eyes. the way his hands and eyes had roamed her body, burn away the feeling of him pressing against her. it all made her feel nauseous, she could practically feel the bile rising in her throat. she didn't want to feel how she felt, natalia hadn't asked for any of it. she didn't ask for his prying eyes, his wondering hands, she just wanted to keep her friends and her family safe. apologies had spewed from her lips, because she knew that her family was in danger now. everyone she loved and cared for was in danger because she gave in, told the man where her people were.

she would be at fault if anything happened to them. she'd blame herself everyday if anything happened to her family, she'd never let herself live it down. though it had either been to tell where they were, hope they'd be able to prepare, or watch glenn and maggie die before her. she chose the latter, and she could only hope it was the correct option.

her teeth chewed on her nails, soft cries still escaping her lips. heavy breaths entering her lungs, yet it still didn't feel like she could properly catch her breath. her head resting against maggie's chest, the woman's arm wrapped tightly around her shoulders, hand gently tracing circles on the girls bicep. glenn kissed his teeth, looking to the girl, she sat on the opposite side of maggie.

he leaned forward, looking to the girl. "nat, did- did he?" his voice trailed off, natalia slowly shook her head. not being able to get a word out, she could feel maggie release a sigh, a huff of air she'd been holding finally releasing, of relief. "running from walkers, made me forget what people do, what they've always done." natalia whispered, voice heavy with a sob on the brink of escaping her lips. body slightly shaking against maggie's chest, knees brought to her chest. maggie gently pushed the girls hair behind her ear.

natalia squeezed her eyes shut, biting back a sob, she could barely function. she wanted nothing more then to be back at the prison. "i'm sorry. we're so screwed, everyone's in danger, because i couldn't keep my mouth shut." natalia apologized, looking to the ground. tears falling heavier now, staining her cheeks. "stop. you did what you thought was right, you saved our lives, nat." maggie told softly, the girl pushed further into the women's chest. craving the comfort that she was providing, glenn forced himself to stand. blood seeping down his face, coating his chest.

a pained groan escaped his lips as he did so, natalia slightly straightened up, watching the man limp towards the walker that laid on the ground. he bent down, grabbing the walkers limp arm he lifted it, bringing his boot down to snap the bone. he let out a pained yelp, everything burning as he did so. finally the arm broke, natalia and maggie slowly stood, the green women helping the teen stand.
