ollie's pov:
"ollie!" kimi says, walking over to me as i re-enter the paddock.
"oh hey." i say, stopping in my tracks and running my hand through my hair.
"is everything done?" he asks.
"yeah, but i don't know. what if this isn't the right thing to do?" i say nervously
"ollie, man. shut up. your just nervous." he says.
"well yeah, if this doesn't go right-"
"it will! and you can't back out now. we shook on it." kimi points out.
"i was drunk."
"our dad is waiting."
"i don't know-"
"ollie! i'm going to slap you in a minute to knock some sense into you."
"you don't need too, i think this is right."
"it is right, you can do this." he says, before pulling me into a hug.
"she won't be able to resist your sexy face." kimi jokes once we pull away.
"shut up." i say, laughing.
"let me know how it goes." he says, before we both say goodbye.
angel's pov:
"there he is." paul says, pointing at ollie who was walking down the paddock towards us.
"hey sorry i took so long, media stuff." he says, kissing me as he greets us.
"yeah, don't worry about it." i say.
okay, something was definitely happening. paul says he's in a meeting, then ollie says he was in media? maybe im just making something over nothing, i should just brush it off.
"are you ready to go?" ollie asks, picking up my bag.
"yes, are you?" i ask, slipping my hand in ollie's free one.
"yeah, come on then." he says, as we say goodbye to paul and make our way out of the paddock towards ollie's car? how on earth is ollie's car here if we came here in kimi's?
just brush it off. i trust ollie. but i couldn't help but feeling slightly annoyed. someone is lying to me.
"so where are we going?" i ask, once we had driven away from the track.
"its a secret." he replies, smiling across at me.
"please?" i ask.
"nope."
"okay, well how far are we then?"
"not long, it's just a few roads away." he says.
"ollie,we are in the middle of fields. how on earth are we nearly there." i say
"relax, i know where im going." he says, smiling across at me.
"how was celebrations with the team?"
"it was great, i mean everyone in the whole garage was happy. no-one expected this weekend, i mean i drive a haas."
"you drive a haas, but your an amazing driver. your just proving that even more because your not in the fastest car." i say, placing my hand on his.
"hopefully in the upcoming years i'll get a better car." he says, looking across at me.
"you will, you deserve it." i say, as the car pulls to a stop at the side of the road.
"are you lost? we are still surrounded by fields." i say, looking at the fields in every direction.
"er no. this is it." he says, climbing out of the car, and walking round to open my door for me, offering his hand to me.
"thank you, but where are we going? i don't want to get the dress dirty." i say.
"you want me to carry you?" he offers.
"if you insist." i reply, not expecting him to pick me up, bridal style and carry me across the field.
"okay. ollie i'm being serious, where are we going." i ask, after a minute of taking in the beauty of his eyes, his face, his hair, his everything, up close. i could never stay mad at him for long, he's the most gorgeous, perfect man i've ever met.
"here." he says, smiling down at me as he gently places me down the ground, facing him.
"can i turn around?" i ask, smiling up at him, his hand on my waist.
"close your eyes." he says, returning the smile before holding his hands over my eyes as i turn around.
"surprise!" he says softly, revealing a picnic blanket, covered with pillow and a basket of food.
"oh, ollie." i say, looking at him across my shoulder.
"what do you think?" he asks.
"it's amazing love." i say, turning around to kiss him before sitting down on the blanket beside him.
"so, is this what you were doing earlier? you got paul to distract me?" i ask, ollie gently stroking my hand.
"yeah, im sorry i just needed time to set this up."
"it's perfectly fine, i mean this is gorgeous ollie. i don't know how i can ever set up a better date."
"any date is amazing with you baby. are you hungry?"
"yes actually." i reply, as he begins to take food out of the basket.
chocolate strawberries! my favourite.
"ladies first." he says, giving me the box as i take one, thanking him.
we sat there and talked, and talked, and talking the whole time. it had been at least two hours before we remembered that time passed. the sun was beginning to set, yet neither of us were tired. we weee happy with each other.
"the sunset is beautiful tonight." i say, looking across the horizon.
"you look beautiful tonight." ollie says, looking across at me, as i feel my cheeks flushing slightly.
"im just going to get a photo, are you coming?" i ask him.
"always." he replies, helping me up and holding my hand as we run into the middle of the field for the most perfect photo.
"look." i say, showing him the photo whilst the sun shines onto his face, making him look even more handsome than normal, if that was even possible.
"beautiful."
"shall we head back to the blanket?" he says, slipping his hand around mine again.
"yeah." i say, as we walk back over.
