soon later, kimi and jules arrived after their trip to the hotel. sadly, jules couldn't stay long and had only came to check i was alright. so it was just me, my boyfriend, and my brother. and honestly there wasn't anybody else i would want to spend my day with, even if it was in a hospital.
"you look lonely." i say, kimi was sat by himself as ollie was lying beside me.
"i am! your stealing my best friend." he says.
"he's my boyfriend, and it's my birthday."
"it's mine too!" he reminds me.
"you could sit on the bed." i suggest, and he sits in front of me and ollie.
"i can't wait to get out of here, these beds are so uncomfortable." i say.
"well, how about we open some presents?" ollie suggests.
"well i don't have kimi's gifts from me-" i say.
"that's fine, i brought his. well he brought them." ollie says, looking over at the bags that jules and kimi had brought with them.
"i'll grab them." kimi says, bringing the bags over.
"there's more at the hotel for you, but i couldn't carry them." ollie says.
"ollie! you shouldn't have done that!" i say, hitting him gently.
"done what?"
"buy me presents. i told you not too." i say
"yeah well you say that every time, and i buy you them every time."
"your unbelieveable." i say, shaking my head.
"trust me, you will love them."
"oh someone's phone is ringing." kimi says, as we hear my phone ringing.
once i found it, i answered a facetime call from eli, kimi's girlfriend.
"happy birthday!" she says, her face lighting up the screen.
"thank youu, where are you?" i ask, noticing a gorgeous background.
"im in town, on the way to the store. but how did the operation go? kimi messaged me about it."
"good, i think. still a little painful but not as bad- oh kimi is giving me a dirty look." i say, laughing and turning the camera to show her.
"you call my sister before me!" he says, pouting.
"i tried calling you, your phone is dead. but happy birthday my love." she says, blowing
him a kiss as i show him the screen
"thank you baby." he says, returning the kiss as i fake throwing up, disgusted at what i was seeing whilst ollie was laughing
"we need to meet up soon, i miss you." eli says.
"so do i, i need to get away from these two." i joke.
"is that ollie behind you?" she asks.
"yes." i say, as ollie says hello.
"so cute, but we definitely need to go out before christmas. we should go on a double date!" she suggests.
"yes we should! they both agree." i say, without even asking them.
"perfect, i've got to go, i just wanted to make sure i was the first to call you on your birthday."
"okay, talk later?"
"of course, love you!"
"love you too." i say, before the call ends.
"presents time?" ollie asks.
"sure." i reply, smiling up at my boyfriend. my gorgeous boyfriend. my boyfriend. he's the best gift i could ever ask for, i don't need anything else. apart from possibly a world championship, but ollie is more important.
ollie hands me a letter, his face already lit up with excitement, waiting for me to open it.
"open it!" kimi says.
"okay, okay." i say, openi no the envelope and taking out a piece of paper inside. it took me a while to read through it and realise what it was, but when i realised i could have screamed. it was something i've wanted for ages, and just never had time to get. he only went and got me tickets to the best concerts on earth, coldplay.
"ollie! i love it." i say, kissing him on the cheek.
"well you've always wanted to go. and i thought it would be good to go with kimi and eli." he says and both mine and kimi's face changes to shock.
"you got me a ticket?!!" kimi exclaims.
"yeah. i spoke to eli made sure you were both free. i guess it's a birthday gift to you both." ollie says, as we both laugh at him.
"mate i could hug you right now. i would if lina wasn't there." he says.
"so when is it?" i ask.
"three weeks, in wembley." he says.
"oh my god, how long have you had these tickets for?"
"a while, nearly lost them once." he says, laughing a little.
i opened a few more presents, and saying ollie is good at getting presents is an understatement. he's amazing. he got me a cartier bracelet, a new pair of headphones (after i may or may not have left them in an airport), shoes, a new bag and a new pair of earrings.
"thank you." i say, for at least the 100th time, leaning up to kiss ollie.
"did i do well?" he asks.
"you did amazing love." i reply.
"okay okay let's stop now." kimi says, leaning over to pull us apart whilst me and ollie laugh at him.
"let's not do that in front of me." he says, shaking his head in disgust.
"sorry." i say, still laughing at him.
