the trip to the medical centre was short, and thankfully not as bad i thought it would have been. although, i was having a visit from the stewards next weekend, they would make the decision if i was fit to continue racing. but jules says it will be fine. i hope that's the truth

the meeting seemed to fly by, to my luck. i couldn't wait to go back to the hotel with ollie. but before that, there was something i wanted to do with him, to make up for our lost time together on the podium. so i couldn't wait for him to finish at haas.

thankfully, it wasn't too long before he walked over to aston martin, and i headed outside to meet him.

"hello." i say, hugging ollie as i greet him.

"hey, are you feeling better now?" he asks, kissing the top of my head.

"yeah, i think so. i ate with jules a bit so i think ill be okay now."

"good, are we heading back to the hotel now?"

"not just yet, i want to show you something."

"lead the way baby." he says, putting his hand on mine and following my direction.

"where are we going?" ollie asks a few moments later.

"your going to have to wait and see, it's not far now."

"so it's in the paddock?"

"sort of."

"tell meeee." he says like a little kid.

"nope!" i reply, smiling across at him smugly.

"okay, then how far are we."

"like not even 100 steps." i say, pulling him into a room.

"wait- did you leave something?" he asks, recognising the room.

"well, i've not been here yet. so no.  now come on!" i say, running up the steps, ollie catching up to me immediately.

"last one there stinks." he says, before running off, and i try to catch up to him.

i walk out onto the podium, not seeing ollie and thinking he went to the wrong place- which would have been hard as there wasn't exactly anywhere else to go too, when he jumps out in front of me.

"oh my god." i say, holding my hand to my heart.

"did i scare you?" he asks, laughing.

"just a little." i say, catching my breath whilst also laughing.

"well, it's time for you to take you place on the podium ma'am." he says, holding out his hand.

"why thank you kind sir." i reply, placing my hand in his before stepping onto the top step of the podium, ollie stood beside me.

"don't tell me your about to sing the national anthem." i say, smiling slightly at ollie.

"this is so weird, your taller than me. but no, unless you want me too?" he jokes.

"i think ill save my ears." i say, laughing with him, before i pull him up onto the step of the podium with me.

i place my hands on his waist, and lean up to kiss him, him leaning down to meet my lips whilst placing his hands on my back.

"i love you." he mumbles quietly.

"i know. i love you too." i say, before kissing him again.

i rest my head against his chest, his arms wrapping around me as the rain begins to fall lightly. i had my hood up, i didn't care and neither did ollie, so we stayed a little longer.

"what's a little rain gonna do?" he says, before taking my hood down, and running his hand through my hair.

"okay... fine." i say, shaking my hair into place as i take a step back, spinning round as ollie holds onto my hand.

"what do you think?" i ask, posing as a joke before laughing.

"gorgeous, perfect. mine."  he says, and i lean up to kiss him.

"don't turn around." he says, noticing someone taking a photo of us, before quickly hiding my face with his hand.

"shit." i say, turning into ollie's chest.

"do you want to go?" he asks, as i hear more people gathering below, and the rain gets harder and harder.

"yeah, let's go back." i say, before we both run off the podium, hand in hand.

"i'm sorry." he says, once we were inside the building.

"it's not your fault- and it was good while it lasted right?"

"it was an amazing idea baby." he says, kissing the top of my head.

"well, the thought of a warm bed sounds good right now too."

"that is an even better idea."
