Previously on The Elemental Ninja of CHS...
As everyone else went back into the Fall Formal, you stayed behind to talk with Sunset to try and learn her ambitions. She tells you about her past, including her abusive parents, her mentor abandoning her, her arrival at Canterlot through a magic mirror, and how she has become the person she is.
You offered your help to her, and she accepted, leaving her in tears of joy. The (Hu)Mane 6 overheard everything, and they also agreed to help her. The rest of you resumed the Fall Formal until eventually, it was time for Twilight Sparkle to go back to her world, but not before kissing your cheek.
After she left, the (Hu)Mane 5's magic disappeared, and everyone else left for the night.

It had been approximately a week since the events of the Fall Formal happened, and things were starting to go back to normal for the most part.
Many students and teachers were curious about what had happened to you, the girls, and Sunset Shimmer. They had seen that magic exists and that you also had elemental powers, so you decided to explain to them everything. You first told them that you had elemental powers for as long as you could remember and that you were practically born with them. You then reveal that Twilight Sparkle is a pony princess from a distant world called Equestria, where supposedly everyone would seem to have a pony counterpart. It is also the world where Sunset Shimmer comes from, everyone was shocked at the information.
Afterward, Sunset confesses to the whole school that she had been responsible for all the terrible things that had happened between everyone. She also states that she does not want to be bad anymore and wants to make things right with everyone. Some were skeptical at first, but you defended her by telling them that she had a rough childhood, which led Sunset to reveal her past to them, how she had terrible parents, never had any friends, and thought that by manipulating everyone, she would fill in that void.
Many were sympathetic towards her after hearing her backstory and could tell she wanted to change. To prove that she had changed, Sunset decided to do some community work around the school and help out other classmates, while you and your friends would teach her about friendship and what it means to have friends and be one herself.
As for you, your popularity increased as everyone was fascinated by your elemental powers. While some wanted to be friends with you, others pretended to be friends with you so that they could use your powers for their selfish purposes. However, you refused to be around such people and even told them that if they even thought that they could use you to their advantage, then they'd be sadly mistaken. Suffice it to say, no one bothered trying to use you, and your popularity skyrocketed once you announced that you would be helping Sunset Shimmer to become a better person than she was.
It wasn't just you who had become popular. Soon, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Fluttershy, and Rarity found themselves in the spotlight due to their efforts at the Fall Formal, as they magically transformed and helped you take down Sunset Shimmer in her demon form.
Overall, things had been going well for you, however, you would soon embark on more adventures that would become life-changing experiences for you.
It was Thursday, and you and the (Hu)Mane 5 and Sunset Shimmer were discussing at the Sweet Shop.
