Chapter 15: Tragedy and Confession

Previously on The Elemental Ninja of CHS...

The Rainbooms had gotten angry at each other, which caused the Dazzlings to feed off their negative energy. Speaking of which, the Dazzlings were waiting backstage, ready to initiate their evil plan whilst also betraying Pythor for their benefit.

Eventually, the Rainbooms got it together and teamed up with Vinyl to stop the Dazzlings once and for all. After a long battle through song, the Dazzlings were defeated and their pendants were shattered, meaning they could no longer use their magic.

Pythor then showed up for his final act, which involved you, hypnotized by him, to fight against the Rainbooms. Sunset tried to get into you by reminding you who you truly are, and you had the strength to resist Pythor's mind control and destroy his staff. Later, you and the girls said goodbye to Twilight and Spike as they returned to Equestria, hoping to see each other again.

It's been about a week since the Battle of the Bands, and things have slowly reverted to normal. You and the Rainbooms have become the most popular students at CHS for stopping the Dazzlings and freeing everyone from their control.

Admittedly, though, a couple of the students were still a little frightened by you, seeing you as a power-crazed lunatic who stopped at nothing to destroy and conquer. It had spooked them as they had always seen you as this helpful and optimistic student around campus who believed that everyone deserves a second chance. Seeing you that night, acting like an omnipotent ruler bent on world domination, made you look like a completely different person to them, and they became afraid, saying that you might use your powers to destroy anyone you wish if they were to even tick you off just the tiniest bit. While you were understanding as to why they acted that way, it still hurt a little bit to think that your reputation had been slightly damaged because of what had happened. You reasoned with them that you were not that type of person, that you would never hurt anyone without any reason, and that you were only like that because you were merely under the influence of Pythor's mind control. Whilst some students got over their fear, some were still a little scared. Fortunately, the girls, along with Sunset, reassured everyone that you were still the same old charming and helpful student you've always been.

Speaking of Sunset Shimmer, everyone has finally accepted her and forgiven her for her past actions as they no longer see her as the bully queen who wanted to rule, but now as a girl who wants to do the right thing and help out anyone in any way she can. Sunset could not have been any happier.

As for the Dazzlings, no one has seen them since the Battle of the Bands, or Pythor for that matter. Most students believed that they had moved somewhere else to escape the humiliation of their defeats, while others speculated that they had potentially gone into hiding and were plotting their next plan of attack, whether it be against them or someone else. Deep down, you had a sneaking suspicion that Pythor would come back eventually, being the slippery snake that he is, and the same thing for the Dazzlings. You also wanted to know what their true motivations were, why they tried to brainwash everyone, and what they truly wanted.

Overall, things have been relatively normal since then, however, Sunset Shimmer would eventually reveal some news that would change her life around for the better and the worse.

Within the realm of Equestria, inside the Canterlot Castle, Princess Celestia is sitting on her throne while looking at a letter in her hoof.

Princess Celestia: I believe it is time now... Sunset Shimmer deserves to know the truth about what happened to her parents during her absence.
