Previously on The Elemental Ninja of CHS...
Back in Ninjago, some criminals hear about you and the Ninja being off in a distant realm to rescue Zane and make a plan to break out of Kryptarium Prison during this time. The criminals in question are The Mechanic, Ultra Violet, and Fugi-Dove. As they escape through the sewers, they talk about who the worst ninja of all.
Ultra Violet says it's Zane, The Mechanic argues it's Nya, while Fugi-Dove states it's Jay. They all share stories about their experiences with each ninja during their escape. Then a skeleton known as Wyplash warns them about you, the Elemental Ninja, being the worst ninja of all. Eventually, the three, along with Wyplash, make it out but are immediately caught by P.I.X.A.L. and are thrown back to Kryptarium.
In the Never-Realm, Uthaug warns everyone about there being an avalanche where you, Lloyd, and the four girls were, making everyone worry for you. Meanwhile, the six of you were walking down a snowy path along with the wolf, whom you've all named Red. You all then come across an alley involving a bunch of bones and a giant bird creature attacking you all.
You all hide in a cave where the Titan Mech is, and you all find a monitor with a screen recording of Zane. After listening to the recording, you and Lloyd fix the mech and power it up. Lloyd then takes on the giant bird and defeats it with the mech, and you all march through the icy terrain to the Ice Emperor's castle.
(Opening Theme: Wicked Whip)
On board the Land Bounty, you and the Ninja dangle from the seats as you all hang upside down, groaning from the crash.
Lloyd: Everyone okay?
Jay: Now I know how my socks feel in the dryer.
Kai: I think I swallowed my teeth.
You all take off your seatbelts and hop down while Jay splats down, which makes Kai lose his balance.
Cole: Looks like we made it to the Never-Realm.
Suddenly, the Bounty starts to tilt over slightly.
Nya: What was that?
Cole rushes over and sees through the Bounty's windscreen and gasps when he sees that they are dangling over a cliff.
Cole: We have to get out of here... Now!
He turns around to see you, the Ninja, and your girlfriends already outside of the Land Bounty.
Cole: Huh?
He responds in confusion. He then runs over and gets ready to jump out, but Lloyd stops him.
Lloyd: Wait! Do you have the Traveler's Tea? So we can get back home?
Cole: What?
He asks as the Land Bounty tilts over more.
Lloyd: Cole, we need that tea to get back home, remember? After we find Zane. So do you still have it?
Cole then checks himself and doesn't feel the tea on him.
Cole: Oh, no! I... I think I dropped it.
Lloyd: Cole, Cole, Cole.
He chides Cole as he shakes his head disapprovingly.
Kai: You let us down, Cole.
He glares furiously.
Rainbow Dash: I can't believe someone like you could lose something as valuable as that so easily.
