A new kid by the name of (Y/N) (L/N) has just arrived at Canterlot High after facing some personal struggles back in Ninjago City. He made a couple of new friends there and was also warned about a certain bully.
Around his exploration of the campus, he meets five new friends, a cowgirl with a love for family and apples, a party girl who is super ecstatic It looks like she has a sugar rush, a beautiful fashionista with a a dream of having many fashion stores under her, an tomboy with rainbow hair who is severely athletic and a tea player and captain of every sport, and a timid quiet girl who has a big and kind heart for all animals.
Later (Y/N) was confronted by the school bully, Sunset Shimmer, who tried to ask him out on a date, but he denied her, and she was not happy about that. At the cafe (Y/N) sees the same five girls again only to discover that they are not friends with each other, at least not anymore.

It's been a couple of weeks since you've been at CHS. You've made some new friends, not only with Flash Sentry and the girls but also with other students. You helped others when possible and made it a habit whenever someone desperately needed it. Everyone admired you and liked you for who you were, your popularity began to grow and you were soon the most popular kid at CHS.
Everyone had a deep respect for you, all except one, Sunset Shimmer. Ever since you've rejected her offer of dating her, she's been trying to do whatever she can to humiliate you. However, all of her efforts were in vain as you had always been able to avoid any of Sunset's tricks on you, and sometimes whenever she was majorly busy, she would send her lackeys Snips, and Snails to try and mess with you or get you in trouble. Still, they would fail in the end. It honestly concerns you why they continue to do her bidding.
What else concerns you is why Sunset is doing all this. Why does she want to rule the school? What does she hope to gain by accomplishing this? Is someone forcing her into doing it? These thoughts baffled you endlessly.
Other than Sunset's endless villainous tactics to get you, life was pretty standard for you at CHS. However, everything would soon change. One morning you woke up and saw that your alarm clock was broken, you checked to see that classes start in at least half an hour. You immediately jumped out of bed and rushed out the door, got into your car, and drove one mile over the speed limit to hopefully get to school on time.
(Y/N): Shoot, I'm gonna be late! Ugh, why did my alarm clock have to break just now?! Huagh, hopefully, I won't get into too much trouble when I get there.
You eventually arrived at the school parking lot. As you were approaching the school you noticed an ominous white glow coming from the horse statue.
(Y/N): Huh? What? Don't tell me there is going to be another threat heading into this world.
You got behind some bushes and got ready for what could potentially appear. Suddenly two figures popped out of the statue.
The first figure was a purple dog with some green fur, green eyes, and a dark purple spiked collar.
