You and the Rainbooms went to participate in the Battle of Bands since Twilight wasn't ready with the counterspell. As the competition progressed, everyone started arguing and competing fiercely against each other, even sabotaging your acts.
It was the semifinals, and you and the Rainbooms performed one last song, though it was mostly Rainbow Dash taking the spotlight. She is also about to transform until Sunset intervenes, making everyone boo at them. Surprisingly, the Rainbooms won, all thanks to the work of the Dazzlings.
You were alone as you couldn't handle the girls' bickering and fighting, giving Pythor the perfect opportunity to take care of you alone. Unbeknownst to you, the Dazzlings were behind you and helped Pythor to capture and put you under their control. Pythor then confronted the girls, only to activate the trapdoor beneath them, trapping them underneath the stage with no way out.

Things are looking grim for the Rainbooms as they find themselves in a terrible situation. Pythor had trapped them underneath the stage in the storage room, giving Trixie and the Illusions their spot in the final by default. The Dazzlings now had no one to stand in their way, so they could sing their song to the entire crowd, which would give them their power back. However, what was concerning the Rainbooms most was you. Pythor told them some things about you that they refused to believe, and they are unsure of where you are or what could have happened to you.
It is now nighttime, and above on the stage, Trixie and the Illusions are performing on stage. Meanwhile, the Rainbooms underneath the stage are sitting in despair whilst Rarity is fanning herself. There is just silence within the room, apart from Rainbow Dash, who is trying to break down the door but is unsuccessful as she groans from hitting the door so hard and rubs her shoulder.
Applejack: Give it up, Rainbow Dash. You've been tryin' at this for hours. It's not gonna open.
She said, irritated.
Fluttershy: I'm just more so worried about (Y/N). What do you think happened to him? He wouldn't betray us, would he?
Rarity: I sincerely doubt anything that snake told us, darling. (Y/N)'s been known to get out of sticky situations, let's just hope that he is doing well and is coming up with a plan to help us out.
All of them nod in agreement.
Twilight Sparkle: You know, maybe it doesn't even matter that we're trapped down here. I don't think the counter-spell would have worked anyway.
She said, feeling sad and guilty, until Applejack went up to her and spoke up.
Applejack: Of course, it would have worked, Twilight. Assumin' a certain band member didn't try to hog the spotlight the whole time we were tryin' to play it!
She glared at Rainbow Dash.
Rainbow Dash: Hey! If you wanna tell Twilight she's getting a little too caught up trying to be the new leader of this band, you don't have to be all cryptic about it.
She said while jumping to conclusions.
Rarity: She was talking about you, Rainbow Dash!
Rainbow Dash: Me?! I'm just trying to make sure my band rocks as hard as it needs to!
