Twilight Sparkle received your message and created a contraption to return to your world. She explains the new girls are sirens who originated from Equestria and have dark magic that they can use to turn people against each other.
You then show Twilight how the girls can transform when they play their music, which gives Twilight the idea that they can use that to defeat the sirens. Later, in the gym, all the bands participating and the Dazzlings are there. Twilight and the Rainbooms then confront them and try to use their magic against them, but nothing happens.
Later, you and the Rainbooms figure out that to counteract the sirens' spell, you would need to create a counterspell through music and let everyone hear it so that the spell can work.

After packing some stuff into your bag, you leave your house and go to Pinkie's. Once you arrive, you go up and knock on the front door, which is opened by Maud.
Maud Pie: Oh, hello (Y/N). Pinkie told me that you'd be coming.
(Y/N): Hey, Maud. Good to see you again. Are the girls here?
Maud Pie: Yes, they're all here.
(Y/N): So your parents are okay with this?
Maud Pie: They are. Mom and Dad, along with Limestone and Marble, are out of town at the moment. They've gone to help a family friend who's in trouble and needs help.
(Y/N): I see. Well, I'd better go see Pinkie and the others.
Maud Pie: Very well, and just know this (Y/N), you better not try anything funny with my sister or any of her friends. If you do, I won't let you hear the end of it.
She said while narrowing her eyes at you, which sent a shiver down your spine.
(Y/N): Yeah, okay, don't worry. I'm not that type of guy, I promise I won't try anything foolish with her or any of them.
Maud stops narrowing her eyes at you.
Maud Pie: Very well then.
She walked away whilst you sighed in relief. You then walked up to Pinkie's room and knocked on her door.
Pinkie Pie: Who is it?
(Y/N): It's me, (Y/N).
Pinkie Pie: Come on in, (Y/N).
You open the door to Pinkie's bedroom to see her along with the other Rainbooms in their pajamas.
