Chapter 83: Familial Gathering

Previously on The Elemental Ninja of CHS...

You, Sci-Twi, Rarity, and Pinkie Pie help liven up Maud Pie's Rock Talk. Sunset waits in line for a game when the girls show up, and then you surprise her with the game that you got her. You and Pinkie help fill in for Rarity's babysitting gig. Applejack and Rainbow Dash compete with each other to see who can join the most clubs.

You, the Ninja, and the girls discover a mishap with the girls' magic, which is the result of Rainbow Dash continuously using hers. You, Zane, and the Twilights help everyone study for the final exam. You and Sci-Twi hang out at the planetarium, which doesn't go as planned, but you were both still happy with each other. You and Sci-Twi look after Celestia's garden, which goes bad when Sci-Twi pours water through a magical watering can.

Rarity reveals she is stressed about her store display, and Sunset helps her out with it. Fluttershy is accused of cheating on a quiz and proves she knows the material all by herself. Granny Smith takes a detour when taking you and the Rainbooms to her cousin's party. Fluttershy grows nervous while recording an ad for the animal shelter, but still manages to get good footage.

Pinkie helps everyone at her cafe by bringing over one of the girls who can help them. Applejack sings while preparing a party in her garage for you and everyone else. Fluttershy refuses to go to a karaoke party and goes back inside her animal shelter to sing her song. Rarity shows you a music video she made of herself, and you are impressed.

(Opening Theme: Temporal Whip)

You are at your mansion in Canterlot, hanging out with Twilight, Sunset, Starlight, and the Dazzlings. Your Ninja allies and your adoptive parents were also at your mansion as well. As you are relaxing, your adoptive father approaches you.

(D/N): Hey, son. Your mother and I were wondering about something.

You then look up at him curiously.

(Y/N): Hm? What's up, Dad?

(D/N): We've known your girlfriends for a while now, especially the ones with you right now. As well as Sci-Twi, Rarity, Fluttershy, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, and Rainbow Dash. They're all great to be around, so your mother and I were hoping to get to know their families as well.

This surprises you.

(Y/N): Really? Well, I don't see a problem with that at all. What do you guys think?

You ask the girls and the Ninja.

Sunset Shimmer: I don't see anything wrong with it either. It would be pretty nice.

Kai: You know, that's not a bad idea. Hey, maybe our parents can get in on the action.

Nya: I don't know about that, Kai. They might be our parents, but I don't really have the best relationship with them, especially mom.

Starlight quizzically looks at Nya.

Starlight Glimmer: You don't? Why not, Nya? Surely you love your mom, don't you?

Nya: I do, it's just that she and dad were taken away when I was three years old, and when we reunited, while I was happy to see them again, I didn't feel that sort of child-parent relationship with them.

Sonata feels bad for Nya and gives her a hug.

Sonata Dusk: Oh, you poor thing. It must be tough to lose your parents at such a young age. Adagio, Aria, and I know what that's like.
