You are just a standard teenage boy apart from the fact that you have elemental powers. You've had these powers for quite some time. Alongside that, you were trained to become a ninja and use your powers for the sake of goodness. Your life was quite...
You, the Ninja, and your girlfriends tracked the Mechanic to an old warehouse where he was searching for a motherboard. You all eventually took the motherboard from him and had him taken away. Then, you search his hideout for clues as to why he wanted to get his hands on that motherboard. You all then find a back room with a computer program called Unagami, which explains the motherboard and how it connects to what the Mechanic was trying to do.
Jay finds an old Prime Empire cabinet and tries to get it working, but to no avail. He then notices a slot for the motherboard, which he inserts with the one you all found earlier, creating a red energy shockwave across Ninjago City. The game starts, and as he plays, the arcade machine opens, and Jay, along with Pinkie Pie, Lemon Zest, and Sonata Dusk, enters.
You and the others go back to the first room and find none of the four there. You then check the security camera and see them enter the game. You all then question the Mechanic, who says that Unagami is planning something big that none of you will be able to stop. Zane then suggests looking for the game's creator, Milton Dyer, to see if he might have some answers.
You all then arrive at Dyer Island, and after surviving a tremendous number of booby traps, you reach the mansion and find Dyer's old colleague, Bob the Intern, who lets you all in to explain. He explains how Dyer created the game and was fired after Vast Industries claimed it was too dangerous, leading Dyer to swear vengeance on them. This leads you all to the conclusion that Milton Dyer is Unagami.

Fred Finely starts giving a report in Ninjago City.
Fred Finely: And now a Ninjago News special report. Arcade Apocalypse! Prime Empire. It's not just a video game craze sweeping the city, but something far more sinister. We're receiving reports that players who reach the 13th level are mysteriously vanishing! Where are these missing players? Who's taking them? And more importantly... will I win a Peabody Award for this hard-hitting report? Stay tuned!
At Benny's Arcade Emporium, a police officer is taking out an arcade machine as the owner, Benny, comes over and stops him.
Benny: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! What are you doing? You can't take that! I've made more money on that game in two days than I have in the last two months.
Ninjago City Police Officer: This thing's dangerous.
Benny: Oh, come on, that's ridiculous. It's just a game—
The officer shuts off the arcade machine and continues pushing it out of the arcade.
At Kryptarium Prison, the guards keep watch over the prisoners. The Noble then wanders through the cells. He stops to look at Soto, who glares at him with hatred as he passes. Soto is a pirate captain dressed in black, with a red cloth beneath, a necklace with a key, red shoulder pads, and a golden hook on his left hand. He also wears black pants with a right peg leg. He has an eye patch over his right eye, a mustache, a goatee, and a pirate hat adorned with a red feather and a symbol of a pirate skull with double-sided wrenches in its mouth.
