Chapter 19: The Battle of All Time

Previously on The Elemental Ninja of CHS...

You arrived at the grocery store to buy some ingredients when suddenly you heard a familiar voice. You turn to Sonata, then Aria comes along, and finally, Adagio. They had fallen on hard times ever since the Battle of the Bands and had to beg for money, which is why you generously gave them fifty bucks.

Later, you took them out to eat, and they told you they did what they did to gain the power to get revenge on the ponies who had killed their kind on their island so long ago. You also tell them about the history between you and Pythor and reveal that they had been banished into this world one thousand years in the future and could no longer get their revenge on those ponies.

You convinced them to live normal lives and offered to stay at your place should they need more help. They were also convinced to seek no longer revenge, which Krux and Acronix were not happy about. They kidnapped Adagio and Aria and forced Sonata to retrieve and bring you to them.

You were running through Canterlot City, heading towards the mall to meet with Sonata, who had called you earlier, and she sounded upset.

(Y/N): *thinking* What happened, Sonata? Please be okay.

You eventually arrived outside the mall and saw Sonata sitting on a bench, her face filled with an extremely sad look.

(Y/N): *thinking* There she is.

You walk towards Sonata.

(Y/N): Sonata!

You called out to her, and she noticed you.

Sonata Dusk: (Y/N)!

She got up, ran up to you, hugged you, and began to cry.

(Y/N): Sonata! What's wrong? What happened?

Sonata Dusk: They... they took them... they took Adagio and Aria.

She tells you while sobbing, which shocks you.

(Y/N): Who? Who took them?

Sonata Dusk: Two guys named Krux and Acronix.

This made your eyes widen in realization.

(Y/N): What? Krux? Acronix? They're here. How is that possible?

Sonata Dusk: Who are they, (Y/N)? They know you and say that you have ruined their plans in Ninjago.

(Y/N): As you know, I lived in Ninjago City before moving here to Canterlot. I also told you how I was trained to become a ninja and fought against several threats. One of the threats we faced was the two individuals referred to as The Hands of Time, or simply The Time Twins. They were old enemies from my master's past, and from what he told me, the Ninja were once elemental masters of time, but had their powers stripped from them and put into four blades forged in Chronosteel, which could absorb elemental powers and rid a user of them. Afterward, he and his brother sent the blades into a Temporal vortex, and the Twins went in shortly after, becoming lost in time. However, forty years later, they returned and planned to take over Ninjago with an army of humanoid snake warriors as well as retrieve the Time Blades whenever and wherever they showed up. They also kidnapped crafters and workers to help forge new armor and weapons for their snake warriors, as well as a skilled blacksmith to build the time machine that they called The Iron Doom. Lastly, they kidnapped a very intelligent inventor named Cyrus Borg to build an apparatus for the Iron Doom that could power it up if it had all four Time Blades. Once they had all the Time Blades, they went back in time, but luckily, two of my ninja teammates, whose names are Kai and Nya, went after them to stop them. After a while, they shortly came back to the present; however, our master, who had also gone with them, stayed behind to deal with the Time Twins once and for all, and thus they were all lost in time. That was the last I had heard of them... until now.
