Previously on The Elemental Ninja of CHS...
Sci-Twi tells you about her nightmares involving Midnight Sparkle, which make her terrified. You tell her you'll always be with her and help her overcome her nightmares. Meanwhile, you offer to donate some money for the Camp Everfree trip.
You all then arrive at the camp and see two childhood friends, Gloriosa Daisy and Timber Spruce. They are just as happy as you are to see each other again after seven years, but you cannot help but notice some underlying tension between them.
You get even more suspicious when a man, Filthy Rich, comes by the camp asking for something, making Gloriosa glare at him. You and your friends notice this and wonder what he could want with the camp.
(Opening Theme: Ghost Whip)
Everyone is settling into Camp Everfree as Rarity, Applejack, Sunny Flare, and Sugarcoat are walking around.
Rarity: I'm all for learning safety rules, but I do hope I can get started on my designs for the camp fashion show sooner rather than later.
Sunny Flare: I still can't believe you talked Gloriosa into having a fashion show—pretty impressive, if you ask me.
Applejack: We're in the middle of the woods, for cryin' out loud! We're supposed to be roughin' it, not havin' a fashion show.
Sugarcoat: True, but I wouldn't mind a fashion show in the middle of the woods. It could be interesting.
Rarity: It's clear from Gloriosa's own wardrobe that she appreciates a well-put-together look. Even if we are in the middle of the woods.
Applejack: Fair enough. Just as long as you don't put me in one of your fancy pants outfits.
She walks off a little as Rarity crosses her arms and smirks.
Applejack: ...You're gonna, aren't ya?
Rarity: No. Yes! *chuckles* Don't worry, darling. It'll absolutely speak to your personal sense of style.
She and the other three girls walk past Sunset's and Sci-Twi's tent. Inside Sunset's and Sci-Twi's tent, Sunset grabs a flashlight out of her bag and turns it on, and she makes a spooky face and noise, which makes Twilight and Spike chuckle before stopping and turning the flashlight off.
Sunset Shimmer: That was weird back there, right? With that guy, Filthy Rich?
She asked Sci-Twi, who was sitting on her bed.
Sci-Twi: Huh? Oh, I guess so.
Sunset Shimmer: I just have this feeling that Gloriosa's hiding something.
Spike: No kidding.
Twilight Sparkle: She did seem a bit secretive. What do you think, Sci-Twi?
She asks her counterpart, who says nothing and is in deep thought.
Sunset Shimmer: Are you okay, Sci-Twi? You seemed a little freaked out on the bus earlier.
Spike: Probably had another one of her nightmares.
Sci-Twi throws a pair of socks at him.
Sci-Twi: I'm fine.
Twilight Sparkle: Are you sure?
Sci-Twi: Yes, I'm sure. I mean, what do I have to complain about? Ever since I transferred here, everyone from CHS has been really nice and accepting, especially considering what happened at the Friendship Games.
