"I pay for your parents to come over and you still find a way to complain and moan" Luke said as I rolled my eyes wanting him to leave the bus

"Get out Luke" I said turning away from him

"You're so ungrateful sometimes Nicky" he said turning me back around holding my shoulders in his hands

"Ungrateful?!" I snapped back as his eyes slowly became a darker shade allowing me to brace for what was about to happen

"Yes Nicky you're ungrateful" he said as his voice began to get louder causing me to sigh

"I paid out of my own pocket to have your parents fly over and you have the nerve to call me a villain" he shouted as I stood looking at him emotionless knowing this would get to him way more than if I shouted back at him

"I did this for you" he shouted as I felt my blood boil wanting to fight back

"Everything I do is for you Nicky and you're too fucking blind to see it" he continued as I brushed his hands off the top of my shoulders

"No" I said simply as he looked at me confused

"You don't do shit for me" I spat as he began laughing "Everything you do is for Luke and how it makes you look you don't care for anyone but yourself" I shouted back as he ran his hands through his blonde curls in disbelief

"Sit down" he said as the emotion left his face leaving him with a pale look making his eyes only deepen further

"I said sit down Nicky" he shouted slamming his hand firmly on the table beside him making me flinch slightly and his fast movements.

I quickly placed myself down on the couch connected to the table and watched as Luke paced back and forth mumbling small words to himself but nothing I could make sense of. His hands repeatedly entered his hair pushing it out of his face at any chance he was given. I'd never seen him like this. He seemed flustered but also angry. I didn't want to disturb him and cause more outrage than what has already occurred but I had to let him. He was focusing on something and that wasn't for me to disturb.

As his paces started to slow down he occasionally glanced my way, most likely trying to ensure I was where he wanted. I'd obeyed and sat down so it wasn't something he had to worry about. He just needed to work out what the hell he was doing and why he was doing it. None of this was his character and I was beginning to worry what was going on.

"Luke?" I whispered bringing him to a holt as he looked my way and smiled as he placed his hand on my table

"What's going on?" I asked as he shook his head and just stared at me as he stood still and emotionless

"I did it for you" he laughed, still keeping his hands securely placed on the table as he began to shake his head scaring me slightly

"Thousands Nicky" he started as I took a deep breath trying to calm my own nerves "I spent thousand" he said smacking his hand on the table once again making me flinch once again but thankful the table was taking the brunt of his anger

"But you didn't have to" I said quickly causing him to send a look that could kill my way making me put my own hands up In surrender realising that wasn't the smartest thing to say to him

"I did it because I know you needed it" he said finally letting go of the table and crouching down instantly causing an awkward eye contact to begin for the two of us

"Poor little Nicky can't survive alone" he started as he placed a hand on my thigh using me to balance himself

"You need someone constantly. You're so scared to be alone it's pathetic" he said as I felt myself begin to shake. His words hurt. They hurt a lot. All I wanted to do was cry but I didn't want him to know he was hurting me. He probably already knew he was. My tears weren't about to become his validation.

"So yes Nicky I did it for you. I paid for them to come so you weren't walking around all sad and gloomy" he said with a sense of venom in his tone as I felt my eyes water

"Of course I wanted to get back in their good books as well" he started as I felt his grip on my thigh get tighter at the sight of my watery eyes. He wanted me to cry. He's pushing as many buttons as he can find

"And it's clearly worked... look how close your mum was to me while she was here" he started as I shook my head. It hadn't worked. My parents were kind people. Clearly just we're being appreciative of what Luke had done for them. He'd brought them tickets to America to see their child. Any person would want to repay the person with kindness if they didn't have the money to physically repay them. They were just being nice to him.

"Stop" I whispered just wanting him to simply leave me alone for the day

"We're just getting started my love" he said as I turned my head not wanting to look at him any longer.

As fast as I looked away I felt his hand reach under my chin guiding my face back to his direction leading me to look at the stupid grin that sat proudly on his face. A trophy of some sort. He had something he wanted to say and he wasn't going to hold back. His grip stayed firmly on the bottom of my chin ensuring I stayed looking at him as he opened his mouth to talk again.

"And your dad..." he started as I tried to move my head "Come on now Nicky it's rude to not look at someone when they're talking to you, you know better than that" he said as I stopped moving knowing resisting whatever this was was only going to cause more of on issue

"Anyway... your dad... he said the nicer thing to me when he said goodbye to me" he stared as I sighed not wanting to hear it but knowing I had to as Luke continued looking directly into my eyes "He said he missed me, he's heartbroken that we aren't together. But he knows one day we will be back together, he wanted me to marry you Nicky" he said as I felt a tear roll down my cheek as my heart shattered. He'd won. Won the love of my family. Won the satisfaction of finally making me cry. Won the argument or whatever the hell this was. Winning is always his game and he was at an all time high right now.

"Get out" I whispered as he shook his head as he wiped the tear away from my face

"Not a chance" he said as the grin sat firmly on his face

"Leave Luke" I said rising my voice knowing he would only ever listen to my shouts

"What's the problem? Can't face the truth?" He snapped as I felt a confidence overtake my body as I lifted my own arm out allowing for my hand to meet his cheek.

A loud slap echoed through the bus as he grabbed his own face in shock. The colour in his face slowly started to return as if the slap had woken him up from what ever nightmare this situation just was.

"You hit me" he said in shock as I sat there in shock myself at what I just did.

"Get out Luke" I said as I began to cry trying to ignore the guilty feeling that had rushed through my body making me feel sick in the stomach

"Nicky I-" he started before a cough ran through the room diverting both of our attention

"I believe my girlfriend has asked you to leave"
