Muffles filled the silence in my mind as I laid still confused as to why I was asleep and more importantly why I was asleep on the floor.

"You two are fucking idiots" a raised voice that was clearly Ashtons said only adding to my confusion

"He started it" I heard Luke grumble

"You're an adult Luke take some accountability" Calum said as I started to flicker my eyes open wanting the arguing to stop as a headache began to occur

"Nicky its Michael" A voice said as he placed a hand on my shoulder making me feel a lot safer already as I slowly opened my eyes bracing myself for the light to hit my face.

"You fainted Nicky" Michael said as I nodded lightly not wanting to rush to sit up

"Are we having a party in here?" I sarcastically questioned as Michael rolled his eyes and playfully smacked my arm

"Now is not the time for jokes you idiot" he replied as I smiled at him

"I'm fine I just wanted a nap" I replied as he rolled his eyes once again "help me up the floor isn't too comfortable" I said holding my hand out to him to take as he gently pulled me up before hugging me

"Where's Oli?" I whispered into Michaels ear as he let go of me and pointed to the hallway beside us that was full of bunk beds.

"Wanted to stay out of the way after Luke went to go get help." He explained as I nodded trying to ignore the shock that it was Luke who had run to get the other boys

"You need to go hospital Nicky" Ashton blurted as I shook my head quickly

"God no need for that at all!" I said really not wanting any fuss. "I just need to rest up now please" I said as all the boys including Luke nodded in unison

"Okay but you aren't going on stage tonight" Luke mumbled as my eyes widened

"Are you taking the piss" I practically shouted as he threw his hands up in surrender "I'm performing, you can't stop me" I said looking to Michael for some back up as he looked at me emotionless

"He's right Nicky" Calum said as I felt my mouth open in shock

"Sorry?" I blurted as Michael sighed

"You just passed out Nicky. You can't perform, it's too risky we don't want you passing out on stage. It's one night, you'll be back up their next show" he explained as I nodded knowing deep down he was right. I couldn't perform like this, although I passed out from the arguing and thoughts of Oli being like Luke they didn't know that. For all they knew I could have been ill and that caused it.

"Only one show" I said holding my hand to Michael with my pinky finger out

"Promise" he said linking his pinky finger with my own as I nodded

"Now get some rest please!" Calum said as I nodded

"I will once you all leave" I laughed as Calum, Ashton and Michael all gave me hugs goodbye as Luke stood in the corner doing nothing but looking at the floor before the other boys guided him out of the bus leaving me stood alone.

I walked over to the kitchen side of the kitchen and quickly made two cups of tea. One for me and the other for my boyfriend who seemed to have secluded himself away from all of the chaos that had occurred today. Once the tea had brewed I reached into the cupboard finding a pack of biscuits to take with me before making my way towards the bunks.

"Oli?" I said as I heard a light hum in response coming from my own bunk

I quickly pulled back the curtain revealing the tall brunette sat in the corner of the bunk with my childhood teddy sat beside him. Guilt was written all over his face. Similar to the anger of earlier this was a side of him I had never seen. A face of regret.

"Nicky I'm so so-" he started before I could cut him off

"I know you're sorry you don't need to say it" I started as he nodded "I brought you a tea" I said holding up the cups proudly before passing him both of them so I could climb in the bunk myself and join him.

I quickly placed myself beside him allowing his tattooed arm to rest over my shoulder holding me close enough to hear the slow beats of his heart. This was what I had missed while he wasn't here. The human contact and instant sense of calm that he gave me.

"This is all my fault" he suddenly blurted out as I looked up to him and shook my head

"Don't be silly Oli" I said as he looked at me confused "It was Luke's... he did his usual poke till someone reacts and unfortunately this time he got a big reaction" I explained as he nodded

"Is that what he is and was like with you?" He asked as I sighed not really wanting to waste my energy on Luke any longer

"That and worse" I quickly responded as he tightened his grip on our hug "but I don't want to talk about it really" I said as I felt him nod

"As much as I love the fact you've surprised me and come over" I started as he hummed in response taking a sip of his tea "why are you here Oli?" I laughed fearful he'd take offence to my question

"Lee is ill, we had to cancel the end of the tour" he stated as I nodded "you came to see me so why shouldn't I return the favour. Plus I know the boys album comes out in a few days and I didn't really want you to be alone for that" he explained as I smiled at his kindness

"Don't remind me about that album, the less I think about it the better"
