The Tour

"Thank you so much to 5 seconds of summer for bringing me out this tour I truly am having the best time of my life" I spoke into the microphone as the crowd screamed back to me in response

"Now I only have one song left and then it will be time for 5sos! Who's excited?" I continued as I used my set to block out the previous argument with Luke and tried my best to not mention him in my set as I usually do.

"This one is called that won't save us! Thank you" I said before the music began playing and my vocals shortly followed.

As I was singing I quickly looked at the side of the stage and saw Luke stood there bopping his head along to a song I'd written a few years ago about the two of us arguing, our toxic sides of the relationship and nearly breaking up. The sight of him enjoying my set after we'd argued did nothing but make me angrier and as soon as I sang the last word of the song I was off the stage without my usual bow or further goodbyes to fans.

"Woah no goodbye for the lovely fans Nicky?" He said in a sarcastic tone

"Go away Luke" I snapped back walking towards my dressing room

"Oh come on Nicky, it's been 45 minutes just admit you miss me already and we can move on from this"

"Keep dreaming Hemmings we are done" I shouted as he smirked causing me to pace towards him "don't you dare start laughing at me I swear to god" I shouted before lightly hit his chest

"You're psychotic you know that?" He laughed as I began to cry

"Can you two please stop for one day" a second voice shouted from down the hallway

"Michael she just hit me!" Luke explained as I turned to see Michael's lack expression

"You deserved it mate you need to watch what you say to people or one day the wrong person will hit you and actually do some damage... no offence Nicky" he said as I laughed slightly "Come with me Nicky, I'll see you on stage Luke" he said as he wrapped an arm around me and walked towards his dressing room.

"Can I chill in here for a little while?" I asked as Michael nodded

"Of course you can" he replied opening the door to a room full of old guitars, different games consuls, a wardrobe full of clothes and a black leather sofa covered in blankets

"It's super cozy in here Michael" I said trying to change the subject from me and my arguing ex boyfriend.

"So take a blanket, sit down and chill out! But I'm also going to need you to tell me what's happening so I can tell the other boys as I know I won't get the truth from
Luke" he replied as i nodded grabbing a black and white blanket that had little ghosts all over it before flopping onto the sofa

"He cheated on me...he's been cheating for months the guy can't keep it in his pants" I said as a tear started to roll down my cheek before Michael sat next to me pulling me in for a side hug "he just always manages to flip it on me I don't understand why it's always my fault in his eyes for his actions"

"That's unfortunately just Luke" he said as I nodded

"It's just so annoying loving and hating someone at the same time Michael" I replied as he nodded "Luke has been my life for so long and when he's good he's the most amazing person I know but as soon as that tasty side comes out I loose him for months on end until the nice Luke makes a return again" 

"Has anyone ever told you that you deserve better Nicky?" Michael asked as I nodded slowly

"Plenty Michael plenty" I replied before looking down to my phone and scrolling through Twitter not wanting to talk about Luke anymore

As I scrolled through my timeline I slowly started to see tweets about my performance

Lukescurls: I usually love seeing videos of Nicky performing but tonight just made me sad she really didn't seem her usual energetic self I hope her and Luke are okay?

5sosupdates: Regardless of wether Nicky was happy or not on stage tonight we are sending her our best wishes! Let's not assume things!

I sighed turning off my phone and shook my head putting it down beside me. I knew this performance wasn't my best but I was heartbroken by the instant reaction and assumptions by the fans.

Mine and Luke's relationship always seems to be at the tip of 5sos fans tongues or tweets. Even if everything is fine between the two of us it doesn't stop rumours flying around when people put two and two together and come up with six. However this time was different my relationship really was over and I really had let my feelings affect my performance but that wasn't happening again I'm not letting Luke ruin this for me.
