I did promise not to hide them. And I mean how could I break a promise to her? What kind of lover would I be to do such a thing?

Minho was of course the first to point it out. No surprise there.

“What'd you get up to last night, lovebird?”

“It seems pretty self explanatory. I think you can use your context clues,”I shrugged.

“Innocent old me? However could I understand?”

“I have a jacket you could borrow?”Newt offered.

“No thanks. I look better this way.”

“Wow. I can see the personality change in real time,”Thomas remarked.

“Yes, Thomas. People don't tend to stay the same forever.”

“Speaking of Y/N, where is she anyway?”Abby questioned.

“Clinic. She wanted to hang out with Mary for a little bit.”

“Oh no. Looks like you got some competition,”Fry teased.

“That's not even legal,”Harriet sighed, rolling her eyes.

“It is. It's just unethical.”

“Looks like you got yourself an older girl then.”

“Literally, none of us know that for sure.”

“Yeah. Like literally, guys,”Minho mocked.

“Real funny. Anyone know what's on the agenda today?”I asked, changing the subject.

“I’ve got to find more seashells. I need something new for my collection,”Sonya answered.

“I take it Harriet’s helping you with that?”

“Just me. We have our lunch break at the same time, and Harriet's got to finish up something from yesterday,”Newt shrugged.

“Can't that be a one person job?”Minho pointed out.

“Yeah, but it’s more fun with someone else.”

“My social butterfly,”Harriet sighed, wrapping an arm around her.

“Ew. Too much couple stuff,”Minho remarked, scrunching up his nose.

“Oh, relax. You won't die from seeing some hugs.”

“It feels like it.”

“You're so immature,”I said, slightly shaking my head.

“Oh, and you're real mature over there showing off your hickey's.”

“Thanks.”

“Half of you are bloody insufferable.”

“I’m actually not bloody at all,”Harriet said in a monotone voice.

“It's like the first month of the Glade all over again,”He mumbled.

“You're giving him flashbacks,”Minho said simply.

“I wasn't in a bugging war.”

“Sure you were. The war of being British.”

“That’s quite a war. You just lost. Just like your ancestors,”Thomas insisted.

“Did not.”

“You actually did,”He shrugged.

“Of course the one who got lessons knows that.”

“Oh, slim it,”Newt huffed.

“Yeah. Slim it,”Thomas mocked.

“That's the last time I try to help you.”
