Current Writing Plans Update (5/1/25)

Hi all,

I know it's been like nearly five years since I've updated this book or really had much to do with Wattpad, but I do still lurk around and see what you're all doing.

This' more just a quick update in terms of where I am with my writing plans, so please, stick around and see what I have to say if you're interested, as it's more the plan moving forwards.

So some people may already know that 2023, I took down The Other Side of Andy (which I did put a notification out about), as it was a story that I really liked and wanted to turn into a proper story, not keep it as fanfiction, and so I edited it, took it down, and self-published it around mid 2023.

This comes to the main point in terms of my plans moving forwards.

I will be putting a notification out for those interested, and to let people who don't see this update know what's happening.

Essentially, there are still a few stories here on my account that I'll be removing because I've edited them and I want to turn them into proper non-fanfiction books, which means, that I'm going to be self-publishing them as well.

There will still be stories left on here that I don't want changed from fanfiction, but there are still some here that I would like to benefit from and when it comes down to it, I love doing writing, I still do it every day, and I've made the decision to try and make money off said writing, by doing the self-publishing route.

It started with The Other Side of Andy, and the only others ones that I'll be removing, are the Motionless in Wonderland books, all five that're currently up will be removed before Jan 16, 2025, as that's when book 1 is scheduled to be self-published.

I don't want to be giving some of these stories away for free anymore, and as much as I appreciate everyone that's supported and read my works, some of them to me, are worth more than others, and I'd prefer to make them accessible to people outside of the fanfiction world and if I can turn them into my business, and eventually maybe make a living off them, then that's what I'm going to do.

Everything else, besides potentially two other stories, will stay, but for now, the Motionless in Wonderland series is coming down within the next week.

So, moving forwards, these will only be available through Amazon, as that's where I self-publish through. If you're interested, you can look up my pen name, 'Daryl Walker', and you'll be able to find my self-published works.

I have a lot of plans for further stories to be self-published, ones that I haven't and never will put up here, but they're in editing at the moment, so those will be a while before they're released.

I'm planning on getting all the MIWonderland books out this year (2025), which means that half of book 5 and all of book 6 will only be available through the full self-published book via Amazon.

Hopefully this all made some sort of sense, and hopefully I'll see everyone somewhere soon.
