That moment when you don't feel great and then Grand Designs comes on T.V. and you actually wanna be sick.

Hey guys and welcome back to yet another wonderfully convenient update to this wonderfully convenient bio which seems to have now turned into my opinions. Is this a problem? Idk what you wanna know about me; no-one's commented on what they wanna know.
Shoot a Q&A my way please? Like seriously, if you're reading this bio send me some questions in the comments and I'll answer them in another chapter. Pretty please?
You can ask me about anything; like anything. Preferences, opinions on people, opinions on celebrities, who my favourite *current* wrestlers are, favourite and least favourite musicians, what I'm doing for the rest of the year, if I have anything interesting coming up. I might have good answers.
Don't limit yourself to just one question either! Ask as many as you want! Something you wanna know, ask and I'll Q&A.
Literally ask me anything.
Anyway, now that I've cemented my need and want to do a Q&A, let's get into what today is about: writing techniques.
As usual, this' all my opinions and how I do things, mmkay?
I'm not always right. Mmkay?
With that said, I dunno if you can really call them 'techniques' as such; more like...how I view things as I write.
So let's go!
So I truly hope someone finds this helpful in some way. I dunno how many people wanna know the process I use to write or want tips on making their writing better, but either way I truly hope this helps some people.
*I do not under any circumstances believe myself to be a 'professional' at writing nor do I believe I'm better at writing than anyone else.*
You Can't Really Call Them 'Techniques', more like...How I View Things As I Write.
Chapter 1: What to expect in here.
So to start off, there're a few things I wanna touch on that'll be in this.
-characters
-setting the scene
-fucking grammar
-storyline
-believability
-show, don't tell
-explaining terms to the uneducated
-random other things I think of as I go
I guess we'll start off with what I have first and work our way down the line. Seem fair to you?
As always, feel free to jump on in at any time and ask about stuff.
Chapter 2: Characters.
Alright, so straight off this' where people go very wrong.
You can't have a story without good/proper characters. Granted, some character traits and whatnot come within actually writing the story.
You don't have to fully plan out every single character.
Personally, I always have a base idea of what I want my main character to be like and I work from there to see where it goes; the characters have to work though. But they don't have to be fully planned.
(I'll use my own stories as examples obviously so if you haven't read them then it's all g but I'll be picking things apart).
For example, with the Outcast Series, Andy was pretty well the only character I'd had a base idea of. I didn't know how it was gonna progress until the story flowed as it went on; as I wrote it.
I didn't sit down and say to myself: "Well TheWalkingDaryl, Andy's gonna be rather depressed, he's gonna have [insert every fucking issue I gave him here] and then he's gonna do what he did at the end of the fifth book".
No. That's not how it worked with this. It's not how I work; granted, some do but not everyone. Everyone has a different style of writing; this' all preference that I hope people can implement if they're struggling.
