A few people suggested I do this so here we go. I guess?
Random and (sometimes) fun facts about your (maybe) favourite author who writes fanfic and hasn't gotten much of a life since signing up in 2013.
Also includes a lot of ranting.
Information hu...
Hello everyone and or just the one person or two people or maybe three that keep up with this. Hope everyone is having a decent start to the year (let's all ignore the thing that happened yesterday that covered everyone's Twitter feed, especially mine; pretend it didn't happen for now).
So as of right now I've just finally gotten around to listening to the latest BVB song (The Last One) and I have a few things I'd like to say, like the last time I spoke about Vale.
Hear me out.
So I'm actually finally impressed by this song. It took me two weeks to get around to listening to it and I'm not as mad about this one.
For once it actually sounds like BVB and not like they're trying to be something or someone they're not.
I'm unfortunately not as connected to their music as much as I used to be when it comes to this album and I truly hate that, but this song has actually risen my hopes back to "maybe Vale won't be so bad after all."
God I can't write for shit today.
It's funny because I saw a comment that (summarised), said:
"Every song they've released gives it the hint that they're breaking up or planning on it."
Ok, for one, step the fuck back please.
If they break up, it happens and I won't be overly surprised because let's be real, so far the majority of this album comes across as a chore, like they have to release another album because everyone says they have to.
Secondly, as far as I was aware, this album is most likely a concept album; I can't remember for the life of me where I saw that but I did and I stand my ground.
If you've seen the stills for their latest video which is gonna come out the same day as the album, then you'll realise that they have the prisoner numbers and the FEAR Correctional Facility or whatever it says in there. I went to a lot of effort (minor effort) to prove my point.

Have I made a point yet or...?
But let's be real, if they decided to break up, yes, a lot of people would be MCR'ed and all mad and whatever and upset, but when it comes down to it, they all have individual interests as well that they do outside of BVB. Andy in particular.
Obviously I'll still support them all however I can, and yes it will be disappointing but I'm still having my doubts they'll break up.
Once they all get into their tour cycle with the band and whatnot I think mentalities will change and things will change and maybe, just maybe, it'll become number one priority again.
Enough rant, back to opinion.
So yes, this song was ten times better than the previous ones. I'm coming to kinda be ok with My Vow, though the swearing still doesn't sit well in my books. It'll never be one of my favourites but I can learn to tolerate it.
The Last One is a good song though. It sounds like BVB and doesn't sound like, too old school and shitty, or too pop and shit.
I truly do wish that people would actually criticise stuff though. Someone in the comments got slammed for saying they thought it had an A7X feel to it; they got slammed.
Just because people don't wanna say bad shit about bands they worship or adore and they attack when someone says something like what I've been saying on here. I'm entitled to my opinion and you're entitled to yours.
It's like with ATL's album; everyone raved about it being so good and whatnot and I truly don't think a lot of them were game enough to say:
"Well actually, wasn't the best and there were a few songs I didn't like."
People don't wanna say this stuff when they actually believe it. I'm not saying everyone does but there are so many people out there who won't say a bad word about bands they love because it'll get them attacked or called 'fake fans' and all that bullshit.
Hell, there're even things about my favourite band that I don't like.
I truly believe that true fans are the ones who don't like every song; people who actually admit that there're songs they don't like. If you like all their songs, doesn't mean you're a fake fan. Some people are just like that. But the majority, I beg to differ. There's always the one person who actually does enjoy every song.
But the ones who're always shoving that in everyone's face, claiming that people are fake because they don't like all their stuff, that's the problem.
Anyway I've gone on for too long and I have things to do, so ciao for now.
