So as discussed in the previous part, I wanna do a part on the songs I'd recommend if you haven't heard the bands I listen to and are looking for good stuff to listen to. At the moment it may end up as one or two parts, depending on how much I put into it and whatnot.

I may even give a bit of a history lesson on the bands if I know enough. Heh, like I don't know anything about the bands I listen to and I certainly haven't looked into anything to do with them whatsoever; I've no idea who these bands even are.

Sarcasm on point. Sad really.

Anyway, with that said, let's get underway. I've had to pre-write this as my internet cut out and I wann'ed to get this written out and whatnot so I don't have to do as much thinking, though I'm freaking exhausted so yes. I hope tomorrow will be better though I doubt it. Meh eh eh.

The first band I will list stuff from is the reason I decided to do this, as I was listening to them and thought about it for some reason so here we go. I'm gonna try get at least one song from each album for each band but it may end up as more. I hope some of you end up looking this stuff up. If you do, let me know whatcha think of the band and the songs I chose!

In no particular order...

Band number 1: Papa Roach.

Brief history: First album was 'Infest'; pretty sure it came out in 2000 so these guys have been around for a while. They have eight studio albums, excluding 'Time for Annihilation', as it had a few songs but was mostly a live album. There are four band members: Jacoby Shaddix (vocals), Tobin Esperance (bassist), Tony Palermo (drummer) and Jerry Horton (guitarist).

Recommended songs to listen to: Scars, Still Swingin', Not That Beautiful, Getting Away With Murder, Blood Brothers, Code of Energy, I Devise My Own Demise, Kick in the Teeth, Broken As Me, Crooked Teeth, Help, Traumatic.

Band number 2: Avenged Sevenfold

{Not quite so} Brief history: First album was 'Sounding the Seventh Trumpet' which came out in 2000 so once again, these guys have been around for a while. They have seven studio albums (if I've done my counting correct and am not a total loser and messed it up), excluding 'Diamonds in the Rough', as it had a few songs including covers, but also had the 'Live in the LBC' DVD. I highly recommend watching that by the way.

The band consists of five members: M. Shadows (vocals), Synyster Gates (lead guitarist), Zacky Vengeance (rhythm guitarist), Johnny Christ (bassist) and Brooks Wackerman (drummer).

Their original drummer, The Rev, passed away late 2009; they had to get a touring drummer and someone to help them finish their 2010 album 'Nightmare'. They ended up with Mike Portnoy who used to be the drummer of Dream Theatre. They then managed to get a full-time drummer: Arin Ilejay. Arin recorded the one album with them (Hail to the King) before he left and then they got Brooks who used to drum for Bad Religion.
