Time For an Opinion: VALE. (19/01/18)

Yes that's right ladies, gentlemen and other, it is that time.

What time? I hear you ask. Well fellow reader, it's time for my opinion.

Now, now, everyone calm down. I'm sure you've all been waiting for my annoying, unimportant opinion.

What're you stating your opinion on today? I hear you ask as well.

Well friends and foes, I'm glad you've asked! Because today I'm stating my opinion on, that's right, the latest Black Veil Brides album, Vale.

Now, if you've read every other part within this bio, you would've already read my possibly unpopular opinion on the few songs they released prior to the full album.

So for those who don't know or haven't listened to it yet, Vale is a concept album like some of your favourites such as Wretched and Divine, or The Black Parade.

This means that yes, you should be listening to the album from start to finish, in order. This' because the whole album is a story, each song carries the story into the next and the next and so on.

This' the problem that I had with the songs that got released prior to the full album.

The main problem was that the songs were released out of order.
The Outsider got released first back in November of 2016, yet it's number 5 on the album.
The other ones that they released were out of order and I'll tell you what, it's probably the main reason why I had to roll my eyes at the songs, apart from The Last One and The Outsider.

Now, hear me out.

This album as a whole is fantastic. It makes ten times more sense when listened to in order and it makes the whole thing, even the songs I didn't like before, much better. Obviously there're some songs I'm not so keen on and never will be, but in the full album it works, just not as one on ones.

Listening to them out of order hasn't got the same effect as listening to it in full.

I'm just really glad that this album was very good because it's helped restore my faith within the band and everything.

Though I still don't know if it's their number one priority or how long it'll last, it's nice to have them back and sounding like normal BVB.
