Pen and Eraser hadn't seen Blocky in years, so spending the past few weeks catching up had been refreshing for all three of them. This afternoon, they'd been hanging out at Blocky's house from 3 PM to 7 PM, enjoying each other's company. As usual, when the clock struck 7, Blocky told them it was time to go. Neither Pen nor Eraser questioned it; they respected their friend's privacy. Besides, keeping their relationship a secret from Blocky for these few hours each afternoon was challenging enough, and leaving early meant they could spend some alone time together at Eraser's house.

Still, they couldn't help but wonder why Blocky always ushered them out at the same time. Did he have plans? A favourite show? Work? Blocky never explained, just politely but firmly sent them on their way.

It was 6 PM now. The three of them sat on the couch, eating noodles and watching TV. Blocky was at one end, his phone in one hand and a takeout box in the other, barely touching his food. In truth, he was texting his boyfriend, his own little secret. It seemed all three of them were keeping things to themselves lately.

But tonight, Pen and Eraser had decided it was time to come clean. After weeks of hanging out again, it felt unfair to keep their relationship from Blocky any longer. The two of them had already agreed on this before arriving. Pen was a bundle of nerves, worrying about how Blocky might react—whether he'd feel hurt, or things might become awkward, or worse, that their friendship might suffer. Eraser, on the other hand, was much calmer. He was confident Blocky would take it well; Blocky wasn't the type to judge or hold a grudge.

The room was quiet except for the sound of noodles being slurped and the muffled chatter from the TV. Pen sat between Blocky and Eraser, visibly sweating and trembling. Eraser, noticing his boyfriend's distress, gently slipped his hand into Pen's and patted it reassuringly. Pen turned to look at Eraser, who offered him a calm, supportive smile. It was a small but comforting gesture, one that told Pen he wasn't alone in this and that everything would be okay.

Pen took a deep breath, closing his eyes to steel himself. This was it. He was actually going to tell Blocky. After all, he and Eraser had been dating for what felt like forever now, and it weighed on him that Blocky had been left out of the loop. Guilt gnawed at him, but he knew it was the right thing to do.

"Pen, you okay?" Blocky asked, glancing up from his phone, an eyebrow raised in curiosity. He had a pretty good idea of what was coming. Blocky wasn't oblivious; he'd noticed the changes in how Pen and Eraser interacted—the way they looked at each other, the subtle closeness that went beyond mere friendship. If anything, he'd long suspected that Pen had a crush on Eraser. It was only a matter of time before Eraser found out and something blossomed between them.

Blocky already knew. This was no surprise to him.

"Huh? Yeah, everything's fine!" Pen replied quickly, though his voice wavered. "Actually... I—we have something to tell you." He swallowed hard, feeling the sweat pooling in his palm as Eraser held his hand. His breaths came heavy and rushed; anxiety was building as the moment finally arrived. It was time to tell Blocky and see how he'd react.

"You're dating. Yeah, I know." Blocky spoke casually, slurping his noodles and tilting his head back, as if this were the most obvious thing in the world.
