Nickel sat alone behind the hotel, doodling on a piece of paper with intense focus. His tongue stuck out slightly as he gripped a crayon with his feet, humming contentedly. Although he was fine being by himself, he wouldn't mind some company if someone offered.
Feeling bored, Bomby wandered around the hotel until he noticed Nickel sitting alone. Curious, he approached him and asked, "Hey, what are you up to?"
Nickel looked up and flashed a wide smile at his best buddy, Bomby. They had been friends for as long as he could remember—they were practically inseparable!
"I'm drawing! Want to join?" Nickel offered excitedly, kicking his feet and stimming with joy. He loved spending time with his friends.
Bomby smiled and nodded, sitting down next to Nickel. "Yeah, sure!" he replied. As he glanced at the paper, he noticed Nickel was busy drawing.
"What are you drawing?" he asked, curiously examining the doodle.
The drawing appeared to be a big green scribble, not resembling anything specific, but Nickel seemed to have a clear vision of what it was.
"It's a portal to another dimension! Cool, right?" he said enthusiastically.
Nickel slid the piece of paper over to Bomby so he could join in on the drawing.
Bomby chuckled, amused by Nickel's imagination. He picked up a crayon and began doodling on the paper Nickel had given him, adding his own ideas to the portal.
"Yeah, that's really cool," he said with a grin. "I've never seen a portal to another dimension before."
"Me neither! But it would be pretty cool, right?"
Nickel hummed as he eagerly glanced at what Bomby was adding to the portal drawing. He tried his best to keep still, but his legs wiggled with excitement as he watched Bomby work. Bomby nodded in agreement, smiling as he continued to doodle on the paper. The idea of exploring a portal to another dimension sparked his imagination—it sounded like an exciting adventure.
"It would be awesome," he said, feeling a surge of excitement himself. "Just think of all the things we could discover!"
Noticing Nickel wiggling his legs in excitement, Bomby chuckled to himself, amused by his friend's enthusiasm.
"I'm glad you found me! It's always better with company, especially my best buddy!"
Nickel playfully stuck his tongue out at his friend and gently poked Bomby's face, clearly enjoying their time together.
Bomby chuckled and playfully poked Nickel's face back, his cheeks flushing a deep purple. "Yeah, it's always fun hanging out with you," he said with a smile.
Suddenly, Bomby's stomach rumbled, and he rubbed it, looking a bit embarrassed.
"Aw, is Bomby hungry-wungy?" Nickel teased with a goofy grin.
"You know, I could go for a snack! I'm pretty hungry, too!" Nickel exclaimed, suddenly hopping to his feet.
Bomby blushed slightly at the teasing, feeling a bit embarrassed. "Yeah, I'm a little hungry," he admitted sheepishly.
But when Nickel mentioned a snack, Bomby's face brightened. "That sounds great! I could really go for a snack right now too," he said, standing up alongside his friend.
