I couldn't sleep at all. I tried to, but I couldn't.

I was drinking tea on the couch and watching late night television. Miles was asleep in the chair.

Juice walked through the door. He shut it, and looked at Miles.

"Miles, wake up." He said as he walked over to him.

Miles jerked himself awake. He stood up and stretched.

"Anything go down?" Juice asked and I shook my head as I put my cup to my lips.

"Nope." Miles confirmed.

"Good," Juice nodded and took his shoes off.

"Thanks for your help with the boys today." I said as he walked to the door.

"Yeah, no problem. I'll see you guys later."

He shut the door and Juice locked it after.

He sat down beside me.

"Allie, is everything okay? You're acting different."

Now is the time to tell him, my subconscious told me.

"Yes, everything is fine. I just haven't been getting much sleep." I said.

"Well, hopefully, you can sleep good now." He smiled.

I got up and went to the kitchen to pour the rest of my tea out. I threw the tea bag away and put the cup in the sink.

"Opie and Lyla's wedding is tomorrow."

I nodded. "Alright."

I walked upstairs to the bedroom and got in bed.

He took a shower and I fell asleep.

It was 2 pm before I woke up. I walked into the boys' room and they weren't there.

"Oh god." I said and ran downstairs.

Mom was on the couch, sitting with Finn while Sulley played in the floor.

I put a hand to my chest.

"Thank god." I said to myself.

"What?" Mom asked.

"Oh nothing, I just thought that-" I stopped and she raised a brow.

"Thought what?"

"I thought Juice had taken the boys to you and let me sleep."

She shook her head. "Nope. He asked me to come here."

I nodded and scratched my head. "Where is he?"

"Club house."

I nodded. "What time is the wedding?"

"Five."

I nodded and went to fix my hair and makeup. My hair was in long, loose curls.
