I walked to my new advisory room with Ms. Winter, carrying my materials. I wonder what we're doing. Whatcha think, voice? PROBABLY RULES LIKE THEY HAVE DONE IN THE PAST. You were there before this year? YES, I WAS.
I mused to myself as I kept walking, eventually coming upon her room. I peeked inside, and took in a breath of relief. There were only like 15, instead of the 25-30 I was told I'd have in my CORE classes.
"Good morning, Rory! Please, do come in." I slowly stepped inside and looked around. I didn't recognize anyone, which scared me. They all looked my age - and older. "Class, this is Rory. He's our new student in our class this year. Rory, would you like to say anything else?" She said, and I shook my head.
"I'm good, Ms. Winter... Thank you though." She nodded and I sat in my seat that had a little sticky note that read, "Welcome, Rory!" I smiled and sat down, putting the pencil, sticker and ring pop that was by the sticky note into my pencil case.
"Rory!" I looked up to see who was sitting in front of me.
"Arrow!" I chuckled and they got out of their seat and hugged me.
"Rors, it's been so long... damn you, idiot..." I grinned and ruffled their hair.
"Didn't know you two were still here." Arrow let go of me and sit back next to Emi.
"Hi, Rory..."
"Hey, Em." She smiled shyly and buried her face into Arrow's shoulder. "Still shy I see?" I teased, and I heard a soft giggle.
"Rory..." Arrow murmured, and I looked confused.
"What, is something wrong?"
"I haven't got her to laugh in years..." I gasped softly, but smiled.
"She trusts me, doesn't she?" Emi nodded.
"You're so nice..." I grinned.
"You're sweet." She giggled again and hid against Arrow.
"Rory, Emi and Arrow, we're going to watch a video and I need you to pay attention, okay?" Ms. Winter told us, and we nodded.
She then started the video, and we all watched.

After class, I was forced (I volunteered) to carry Emi until she got her wheelchair back. I didn't mind carrying her, if I'm being completely honest. She was very light, just like Braedon. Plus, I'm a little bigger and stronger than Arrow (no offense to them, love them as friends), so that makes it even easier to carry Emi.
"What classes do you two have after this?" I asked them as Arrow opened Emi's locker and put her stuff back in.
"PE, and you?" They asked, closing and locking Emi's locker.
"French. I never signed up, and I'm kinda scared everyone will be fluent except me..." Arrow chuckled and ruffled my hair.
"You'll be fine, dork. Don't worry. Pretty sure A and B have French after this, too."
"A and B?" I asked, confused. They sighed, rolled their eyes and nodded.
"Yes, dummy. Aria and Braedon?"
"OH!" I sighed, feeling dumb. "Right, right... Not used to hearing someone call people by their initials, I guess." I chuckled nervously.
"Fair point. I guess I'm just used to calling people by their initials, except you two," Arrow said, and I nodded along.
"Fair," I mused and Arrow took Emi from me, then grabbed both of their shoes and change of clothes.
"We gotta get to Phy. Ed before teach' gets mad. Seeya!" Arrow carried Emi down the hall, over their shoulder, until the two of them were out of sight. I chuckled and walked the other way, following the map to the French room.
