I held Lorelei's small body as large, bulky men surrounded us, all holding guns.
"There you are, Rory~" a man cooed, stepping in front of the other men.
"Who are you!?" I yelled, holding Lorelei tightly as she let out a small and pained whimper.
"I know you know me, Rory." I just stared at him, really confused.
"I have absolutely no idea who you are. But, if you tell me who you are and why you kidnapped my sister, we might not have any problems." The man just laughed in my face.
"'Then we might not have any problems'? Oh, you're funny, Rory..." he told me, wiping a tear from his eye. "But we will have problems. If, you don't come with me."
"What problem?" I asked, not wanting to leave Lorelei here alone, especially with this many men around. He then pulled out a gun and pointed it at Lorelei's head.
"The girl dies." My eyes widened, and Lorelei started shaking, obviously terrified.
"Okay, okay! I'll go with you! Just, leave her alone..." The man smirked and put his gun down, motioning for the other men to do the same. They followed, dropping their arms and putting their guns back in their holsters.
"Good boy, Rory. I knew you would. Separate them, boys." The men grabbed Lorelei and I, bringing us to other sides of the room. She screamed, cried and struggled, while I didn't. I knew if I tried to struggle, my little sister would get a bullet to her head.
"Girl, shut it," the man growled and pointed the gun back at her. She quickly quieted down, but the tears still rolled down her face. I desperately wanted to reach out and hold her, but I couldn't. I couldn't let her get hurt.
"Boys, bring the girl back 'home'. Rory, come with us." The men dragged her away, and I clenched my fists.
I'm sorry, Lorelei... I love you. Stay safe.
The men holding me let go, and I realized I could run. I could be free. I could go back to Lorelei. But she would die. Those men had guns. They could shoot her. And I couldn't let that happen.
So I walked to the man. I let him handcuff my arms together, and lead me away. Away from home. Away from my Lorelei. My Braedon. My friend. Away from everything.
To be honest, I had no clue where he was taking me. He just dragged me into a car and locked me in. I struggled with the handcuffs to buckle in, but I made it as the man sat in the driver's seat and took off.
Most of the drive was silent, before I let my curiosity get the better of me and finally spoke up. "So, um... where are you taking me?"
"Quiet, boy." He pointed the gun back at me, and I shut up. "But, you're going back where you belong."
Where I belong? Where I belong is with my Lorelei and Braedon. Not wherever this man is taking me...
But, I didn't argue. I just sat in that car for however long until we arrived at a weird location that I didn't recognize.
Was this really where I belong?
