I scooted closer to him as he opened up the designated app and pulled up the Pride Month articles. “Wanna switch reading it? Like I read a paragraph, then you read a paragraph?” He asked, and I nodded.

He started reading the first paragraph, which talked about the origins of Pride. I just watched him again. His mouth moved as he talked, and I couldn’t get my eyes off it. His lips were just so…
“Newbie?” I snapped out of my trance.
“Yeah?”
“You… gonna read?” He asked, and I rubbed my eyes.
“Right. Yeah, sorry. Just spacing out a little.” He nodded.
“If you want, I can keep reading. I don’t mind.” He told me, and I thought.
“If you’re sure, then go ahead. Reading’s not exactly my strong suit…” I chuckled softly and he nodded.
“Alright,” he said before continuing to read the article, which just explained more about the origins of Pride. Though, I couldn’t focus. I just kept staring. I wonder if I could capture his features into a drawing…
I thought about me drawing a picture of him, and surprising him with it. The look on his face when I gave it to him was priceless. So, during art, that’s what I decided to do.
“Newbie, you still paying attention?” He asked teasingly.
“Yeah… yeah, I'm still paying attention. Definitely not daydreaming.” He laughed softly and playfully (but also gently) punched my arm. I smiled as I rubbed my arm, though it didn’t hurt. Braedon has been acting so kind and friendly around me… Did this make us… friends?
