Jenna's Pov
When I woke up, I realised the sky was already dark and it made me wonder what time are we leaving for Seoul tonight. I turned to the side and found Jiyong playing games leisurely on his phone.
"Yah! Why didn't you wake me up?" I asked, checking the time on my phone.
"Because I don't want to disturb your sweet dreams." He answered me while his attention is still on the game.
"What time must we be at the airport?" I questioned him again, worried that we would miss the flight.
"Uh...Wait..I gotta finish this first." He said while his eyes were still glued to his phone.
"Ji! You better answer me before I take that away." I warned him and gave him a glare.
"Ok ok. I'll stop." He told me and put his phone in his jeans pocket.
"So what time?" I repeated while foldimg my arms to my chest.
"At 11 p.m. What is the time now?" He asked.
"Uh..Now is 8.45 p.m." I answered him after glancing at my phone.
"Let's go now. We can buy some food there as well if you're hungry." He said and started to drive to the airport.
I put on a black jacket as the weather at night is as cold as ice.
Jiyong's Pov
Upon reaching there, I volunteered to carry Jenna's luggage even though she insisted me not to. Before that, Jenna and I put on some disguises so that people would not think we are couple and cause unnecessary troubles.
After that, I checked the time of the plane that we are taking.
"Do we still have time to grab some coffee?" Jenna asked.
"Ya. We still have time." I answered her quickly before she gets impatient again.
"Now what time? And when we'll be taking the plane?" She asked again.
"Jenna. Don't ask too much questions. Let's just go and buy you a coffee." I said to her as I was getting annoyed with her unnecessary questions.
I held her hand and pulled the luggage as well. After reaching to a nearby coffee shop, I ordered Jenna's favourite coffee and bought her one chocolate muffin.
She insisted to pay it but again, I paid it for her. We sat down and Jenna started to munch her muffin away and drink her coffee.
"Here, have a bite." She placed the muffin in my mouth before I could react anything.
I took a big bite and let her have them all. While she was eating, I looked at her in secret and kept loving her.
Jenna's Pov
As I was taking my last bite of the muffin, I caught Jiyong looking at me. He looked at other stuff when I caught him looking at me.
Did he want the muffin? Was he hungry and I didn't share it?
Guilt immediately built up inside me for not sharing the muffin and the coffee after he had paid it for me.
"Hey, were you hungry?" I asked him as I was feeling worried.
"No, nothing. It's just there's something on your lips." He told me.
Without hesitation, he wiped it with his thumb.
"Thanks." I thanked him and he gave me a sweet smile.
Then, he looked at his watch again and told me that we should get going.
After we took the plane and arrived in Seoul, Jiyong drove me to a beautiful building and I think it was an expensive one.
"Don't tell me that I'll be living here." I said which made him smirk at me.
"You are now." He said.
"Wait. Stop. No. I'm not going to live in that building. It's too expensive and I don't really deserve this." I told him firmly.
"Jenna. I wanted you to be happy and you told me that you like to live in that kind of house in the future. So now I have fulfilled one of your wishes." He explained.
"Indeed that I wanted to live in an expensive house but not by borrowing your money. I'm going to buy it with my hard-earned money. Please?" I explained to him.
"Fine. Then, live beside my house." He told me.
"But--" I was going to finish my sentence when he interrupted me.
"Shhh. It's cheaper than this. Ok Jenna?" He said while putting his index finger onto my lips to shut me up.
I nodded my head and he removed his finger from my lips. After reaching there, both of us felt extremely tired especially Jiyong.
I saw the house was built beautifully as if I told Jiyong to build it before I come here.
Wait...Did he?!
"Ji!" I said it in shock.
"Ok, I know. I actually built a house that you love so much." He confessed.
"The furnitures, the walls and everything I bought, it's all that you love. Don't feel guilty, regret or whatsoever." He added.
I let out a small sigh and spread a grateful smile. I felt really thankful to have such a great friend like him.
"Thank you Jiyong. What will I do without you." I gave him a friendly hug and he was glad that I accepted to live in here.
Jiyong's Pov
I love the way she hugs me. I felt safe and warm. After she broke the hug, she climbed out of the car and so did I. I ordered her to go in the house and take a look at it while I pulled her luggage in.
"But first I need the house key." She reminded me.
"Oh ya. Take it." I said, passing the key.
She unlocked the front door and was amazed by the interior design of the house.
"Do you like it?" I asked her.
"I love it! I'll go look around." She said enthusiastically.
"Take your time." I told her and sat on the sofa in the living-room.
I let out a tiring sigh and shut my eyes to take a short nap. Before that, I placed my phone on the table so that I would not crack my handphone.
"Ji, wake up." I heard a familiar voice and opened my eyes slowly.
"What?" I asked lazily and attempted to sleep again.
"Your phone is buzzing. And it is from the same person...Uh..Mr Yang?" She told me.
I was shocked to hear that name and my eyes grew wide open.
"Give it to me." I said it in a panic tone.
Jenna passed the phone and I answered the call quickly.
Me : Yes?
Mr Yang : Where are you?! You're suppose to come back at 7 p.m. sharp!
Me : Ok ok. I'll come back quickly.
Mr Yang : ASAP!
"Who's that?" She asked as she was curious.
"My boss and I gotta work. I'll come back as soon as I can." I told her.
"Jiyong, don't worry about me. Just go to work. I'm always just next door." She told me and showed her beautiful smile.
"You're right. See ya!" I bid my goodbye to her.
"Wait!" She stopped me by pulling my arm.
Both of us looked each other in the eyes and it was making my heart beat insanely.
"The job. Don't forget." She reminded me again.
"Of course. Ok bye!" I told her and left her house quickly.
