Jenna's Pov
"Because the girl I love is getting married to someone else." Jiyong said.
I silence myself afterwards as I ponder.
Who could that girl be? Is it me? It cannot be me.
My reasons are, I have the habit of beating him up after he teases me, I love to ask a lot of questions which irritates him, I always argue with him over unnecessary stuff and lastly, I am not the type of girl he can fall in love with. Not even for a second.
"Remember the girl I mentioned before? The girl who doesn't know I love her so much." He askef, interrupting my deep thoughts.
I start to recall and luckily I remembered as I was the one who asked him whether he loves any girl in his life dearly.
"Yes I remember." I replied quickly before he loses his hope on me trying to figure out which girl is he referring to.
"I found out that she was engaged with someone else and I know that I can never be with her in my life." He said in a low, sad tone.
Now I understand why he was acting strange for the past few weeks. I felt bad for him and at the same time I felt guilty because I was never there for him when he feels down.
I recalled back of what I did in those few weeks and I realised that I did not spare any of my time to be with him.
All I did was sending texts asking whether he is fine or not and I did not bother to visit him after work.
I felt like a bad friend towards him as I did nothing for him to make him feel happy or better at least.
Looking at his condition now, I feel that I need to stay by his side despite working late.
By doing that, I need TOP to sacrifice his working time for the wedding plans as it is unfinish.
I was almost going to text TOP about the wedding when I realise that I lied to him about me feeling exhausted and want to go to bed after a long day at work.
At the same time, Jiyong starts to walk away.
"Ji! Wait! Where are you going?" I asked curiously while chasing him.
"Home." He simply said.
"Let's ride my car." I suggested.
"It's late anyway and you must be tired." I added quickly.
TOP's Pov
The next morning, Jenna messaged me that she wants to meet me to talk about the wedding.
I wonder why...
We decided to meet up outside the building since it is the easiest place to spot each other.
"Sorry for making you wait for so long." Jenna apologised as she approach to me.
"It's ok. Anyway, what's the problem?" I ask.
"Well, you know Jiyong is acting strange lately and I want to spend more time with him." She explained.
"So, I need you to sacrifice a little bit of your working time for the wedding plans." She added and waited for my response.
I dug my phone out from my jeans pocket and checked whether I have any available time for today. Unfortunately, I cannot do the things that Jenna wants me to do. Including the dance class.
"Maybe....Jiyong can accompany you!" I suggest cheerfully.
Before Jenna could talk, Jiyong came and interrupted our conversation.
"Accompany who?" He asked curiously and both Jenna and I turned to look at him.
