SHINOBU KOCHO:
The two met when Hayami became a Demon Slayer, so roughly putting Shinobu about 12 and Hayami 13 (Turning 14). Though at the beginning Shinobu was harsh and rude towards Hayami, she slowly mellowed out when Kanae passed. Despite her harsh words, Hayami still accepted Shinobu the way she was no matter what.
Shinobu holds high regards and respect towards her, as Hayami would visit her regularly to check in her despite her own personal issue with her big brother.

GIYUU TOMIOKA:
A former friend of Ryuji's when the two were only in their early teens, but slowly drifted apart because of Ryuji's harsh treatment towards his younger sister. Giyuu didn't talk much with Hayami, but she did visit him from time to time to check in. She tends to bring his favourite sweets, or food whenever she goes over to see him.
