THREE DAYS LATER ~ AT THE DRAGON ESTATE
"...take deep slow breaths, and focus......."
My eyes scan upon all the slayers that were all settled before me, in the back part of my zen garden where it was quiet. The sound of the water trickling down the small slope into the water, makes a beautiful and tranquil sound. The air was fresh and clean, and the day was still cold and yet a good environment for my training.
"Total concentration breathing is no easy feat," I murmur softly, closing my eyes while sitting on my rock that was higher than them. "It benefits you when in coming in contact with demons, and some of you may have learned about it and some may not have..........but I wish for you all to take it seriously if your life is dire situations. Do not let those demons hinder your mind, let your mind be at peace......."
Even from a glance upon my new fresh training group, as a few passed and went on to the next Hashira, some seemed quite beaten.
The others must be taking it all rather rough judging by our meeting a while ago, especially Sanemi seen he's been going at it constantly. Seen he still struggles writing letters, I've hardly spoken to him since we started this training plan. Wondering how Kaito is going with his own training, and curiosity got the better of me towards Shinobu. There was something that didn't sit right with me, as if she's been hiding something important.
".........channel your breathing to your core, and let that build up and then........" I spoke softly, while breathing in for a long time. Allowing the air to flow and circulate my bloodstream and nerves to my brain and centring my core, I soon hold for a second or more, "..........you exhale out....."
All of their faces went red or dizzy for a moment, as I decided to go around and help each one individually.
".......every breathing technique you use, will use an excessive amount of air......" I spoke up; circulating around the large group of boys. ".......your lungs need to grow, so it can expand and intake alot of air so your blood flow accelerates along with heartbeat.......this and while increasing your body temperature......"
A hand raises at the corner of my eye, "What if our lungs aren't built for it?" a slayer questions.
Humming in thought, "Then do what you can........no need to over exert yourself, if you are unable to go further beyond capabilities," I reply, with a level of empathy. Turning around I took off my haori finding it easier to let my body flow, placing it on a post. "However, total breathing concentration can enhance your capabilities, which can give you the boost against demons easier than how you've all been battling them."
Repetitive are my words everyday seen I get different sayers each day now, but only the rare one or two slayers seen the other hashiras are going harshly upon them.

"Alright everyone, I've made Onigiri,"
Every got up while I was sat upon a low table, when I usher one of the students to sit on the opposite side of me. He was confused while everyone gathers around, as I have five onigiri rice balls. High in salt, and protein in the centre, but what I'm about to do is gonna be different. I've known that being a slayer or even martial arts, a body should be eighty percent full whilst in the midst of training. This was to avoid and reduce down inflammation, as if they over ate they would only hinder their fighting.
"A slayer must eat to have stamina, but.....overeating can hinder your readiness," I spoke up; as I serve the slayer. "Eat a few onigiri, due to little exercise we've been doing....I'll manage your balance in diet, physical side and emotional side. Now, eat..and speak amongst yourselves. We'll continue with learning hand to hand combat after. "
