NEXT MORNING ~ AT THE WIND ESTATE

"I'm really sorry, Lady Hayami......"

Tanjiro bows his head apologetically with Young Agatsuma standing beside him, with a giddy expression for some reason. So, as agreed last night by Master himself, Tanjiro was given a formal reprehend by the higher ups, including myself. We agreed upon his safety, and other reason to have him suspended from training under Lord Shinazuagwa. Even banned to see the Wind Hashira himself again for a certain amount of time.

"Please don't apologise, you did what you thought was right," I assure him; gently patting his head. "I apologise for Lord Shinazuagwa's behaviour again, he just has a short temper and certain things can rarely trigger him."

"If I may........" Tanjiro lifts his head, putting on a brave face for his next question. "H-How can you love him.......when he's like this?"

Zenitsu gasps out loud, "LOVE?! H-HOW, I M-MEAN--??!!!"

Surprise by this question, "Well........I guess it comes down to spending time with him," I simply reply, with a warm smile. "I love him, because he believed in me when no one could. He makes my feelings valid.........."

Tanjiro's eyes widen in surprise, while Zenitsu was clawing at Tanjiro still baffled by my words.

"P-Please T-Tanjiro, please explain to me......" Zenitsu questions, bombarding with many more questions. "......I gotta know, tell me this isn't true?!!!!!"

Tanjiro's brows furrow in discomfort and glances to me, as if asking permission for him to tell him in which I nod in response. He soon sighs deeply.

"Lady Hayami, is the Wind Hashira's......Fiance," He informs him, slowly and clearly.

Silence falls between the boys, as Zenitsu's eyes blink a few times in response, "Uh?......"

Zenitsu seems to short-circuit for a moment, as he starts to fume when Tanjiro smacks the back of his head before he could yell something provocative.

"Geez Zenitsu, be respectful......." Tanjiro hisses, when he glances over and his eyes light up. "Oh, Kaito.........."

Kaito walks over standing beside me, "Seen I've trained under Lord Shinazuagwa before and mastered how much I could learn......I'll be onto Himejima with you guys," He smiles, ruffling Tanjiro's hair like a big brother would. "Don't wanna be lectured by Big bro."

Chuckling softly, I could see Tanjiro feel somewhat relieved about his friend joining him.

Rubbing my Tsugoku's back, "You'll be alright.......I'll lecture him if he tries regardless," I assure him, before realising the time. "Anyway Tanjiro, it's best you, young Agatsuma and Kaito better start heading to Lord Himejima I assume?"

Tanjiro nods, "Right, let's head off......." before dragging Zenitsu with him, seeing Zenitsu still surprised and shocked by finding out I'm Lord Shinazugawa's Fiance. "......thankyou again, Lady Hayami! Always there to save me......."

Smiling tenderly, "Always......."

Once the three disappear down the path way out from the Wind Estate's home, I soon realise that we might need to get some Kakushi to help mend some property damage. Even more so, Sanemi will still continue training more slayers despite how painful and gruelling his methods have become. I head back to search for Sanemi while knowing Kaito will do his best under Himejima's training.

"Sanemi......." I call, stepping onto the verandah again. Slipping my sandals off, I follow inside looking for him. Turning a few corners I found myself bumping into a firm chest, almost stumbling back. Blinking in surprise, ".......Genya...."
